The tiny town of Hot Springs, located just southwest of Warm Springs on Route 220, holds several important and historic resorts. Thomas Bullitt was the first to recognize the springs potential and built an inn in the mid-18th century. Over the years, more have expanded and followed suit, and the town is now getaway destination for many.
