Lee's landing was the perfect getaway for my family of 4. We looked for a place that would help keep our two little ones corralled a bit as well as safe, and Lee's landing exceeded those expectations.
The home had plenty of space in the living/game room for activities, my 3 year old and I especially loved the foos ball table! The back porch was large and screened in, which allowed us to relax outside on the porch swing without worry of bugs and gave the kids room to play as well.
The waterfront dock was a great space as well for fishing! There is plenty of space to spread out, as well as a covered space that was also screened in and fitted with a ceiling fan! Perfect to keep cooler during warm Texas evenings. Those with smaller children should know that to get to the water you'll have to traverse about 100 yards down steps and across a small road to get to the water. It wasn't inconvenient, just took some extra energy to carry gear and a 9 month old down to the water.
The place also had plenty of rooms to sleep. Our family only used the master and the adjoining room, but this property would be great for even larger groups. The master was really spacious, and we loved the extra room in the master bath as well.
The kitchen was also set up for great conversations around meals. There is plenty of room at the table as well as at the large island.
The most important thing was you could tell that there was a lot of love in that home from the owner's Paul and Woodye Kaye. When I didn't follow directions to their place as instructed, Paul was available to guide me in by phone which was VERY helpful considering GPS signals get a little spotty in the area. Paul and Kaye even checked on us later on in the evening to make sure we were ok. They even brought us cinnamon rolls!
Bottom line is that if you want a property to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city that has a great space to enjoy the lake with the family, Lee's landing is your place! Hope this helps you make a decision on this great property.
