                    Recent Saba Reviews

                    Roomy, beautiful and comfortable

                    5 of 5
( I thought I had submitted a review already ... but since I received an email request ..here is another on the assumption that the first got lost) This is an ideal spot on Saba to relax away from it all. My wife and I were there for a week hiking, exploring the island and generally just chilling. The pool was wonderful after a long hike up and around the mountains. (or into town). The property is beautiful, quiet (no traffic) and fairly private. There is no one behind, there are trees between the side neighbor, and the front neighbor across the access road although close,is so much lower down the hill that it does not matter. This may not the best spot if you are unable to walk for any distance as the driveway out and the hill in and out of town are steep.(Think volcano!!). However, this was not a problem for us. The property managers were a phone call away and very friendly and helpful. The house had all the required amenities plus wifi. There was a speaker dock for iPhone (with a iPhone 5 adapter) that was just perfect for streaming music. (but not at night as you want to hear the frogs). If you are diving it is a touch inconvenient being out of town and you may want to co-ordinate with dive shop for taxis etc. or just get up a little earlier and walk. Highly recommended for a Saba stay.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in this house

                    5 of 5
Saba island is a magical place. It reminded us of Capri: a place for emperors. This house is magnificent. Photos do not do it justice. My wife and I have rented for our vacation multiple houses all around the world, but this house is the first in our list. It has everything we looked for: view, privacy, spaciousness. In fact we spent a lot of time at home just relaxing, reading, cooking and enjoying the pool and the view. We left the house on few occasions: to explore the SABA hiking trails (at a walking distance from the house), visit the Spa at the hotel nearby, taking some diving classes, exploring the coastline and dining at the local restaurants and bars. Michael and Albert, the property managers, made our arrival and stay in Saba easy and flawless. In every moment of our trip they were extremely helpful, full of precious advise, very responsive and proactive. They know Saba inside out. From hooking us up with a local fisherman, to recommending an organic farm where we could pick vegetables and fresh herbs for cooking; it seemed they always had a solution ready for our needs. We enjoyed every moment of our stay in this house and we will be back!

                    JUST....THANK YOU!!!!

I've been staying at this amazing place for one week, and I had an amazing time. The villa is gorgeous, it has everything, a hot tub, a swimming pool, amazing views, a full equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and huge bedrooms. It can easily accomodate large families or groups of friends, trust me, you're gonna have so much fun!!! Hans the owner introduced me to Bettina, a wonderful and helpful person who bought us groceries, so when we arrived we already had some food available. But she did more, once we arrived to Saba, we found a taxi waiting for us at the airport, Donna the cab driver, a local woman so friendly that we'll remember her for a long time. She helped us giving us some tips where to go and what to do. But trust me, even if you-re staying in the villa, you'll enjoy amazing views, both the swimming pool and the hot tube overlook the ocean, and you're gonna feel like you're the last man on this planet. Sometimes, we hardly wanted to leave the villa. The patio and the garden are amazing too. You can have breakfast or dinner enjoying the rainforest's landscape with a pleasant breeze. The island itself and its people are amazing too. I never found helpful and friendly people like the locals of Saba before. About the island. There-s a lot to do, from climbing the volcano, mount scenery, to the ladder, and the tide pools, an amazing Saba beach with no people at all. I highly recommend this villa and this island to everyone. THANKS for everything!!!
