Nicely appointed with IKEA furnishings, convenient to family and friends in town for a wedding.

We had a wonderful stay at our first VRBO. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood. We discovered Peninsula Park and the beautiful rose garden. The house is spacious, much nicer than staying in a small motel room and we spent less money because we had a full kitchen. Stephanie did a wonderful job making sure there is everything you could need in the house while on vacation. Would stay here again and would like to check out the other offerings that Stephanie manages.

                            Convenient and Classy

                            5 of 5
We spent four nights at this cute and comfortable basement apartment. Upgraded and classy, clean and well-decorated. Easy access off I-5, and only a few minutes drive into town. Traffic can be really slow on I-5, so your timing will vary. Convenient parking right out front. All appliances worked well. Owner very responsive. It is a basement apartment, and renters do hear footsteps and sometimes voices from the owner's residence above. In the mornings and evenings it is not bad, really. We were out most days, but did stay in on a Saturday due to a migraine, and the family was active and one can hear a lot, in that case. But, unless you are renting to sleep during a weekend day and need absolute quiet, this is a very nice place to be if you are looking to be out of downtown, but close to it. Also very close to University of Portland. So any parents of college-bound children will find it convenient as a place to stay while setting their child up in their dorm, etc., versus a hotel further away. We would stay again.

                            Cute house, great owner

The house is really adorable. Built in 1902 and recently remodeled. Updated kitchen, wood floors and a really great clawfoot tub. The interior was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. 2 queen sized beds in separate bedrooms upstairs and a pull out bed that sleep one very comfortably downstairs off the living area. Clear instructions were left and all interactions with the owner were pleasant and professional. The location was fine. 10 minutes from downtown, about 15 minutes from the PDX airport and about 20 minutes from west Portland. The street is a little busy, but didn't wake us up (Admittedly, I sleep with earplugs, tho. Although no one else in our family does). Great neighborhood to walk around in the evenings, too. A couple of restaurants and cafes about 3 blocks away (but it is hard to go 20 feet in Portland without finding a cafe :) ) Wifi and use of a computer were included.
