The property was very new and well maintained.

Mark Morris the owner was very nice and helpful. We didn't have any problems with the cabin at all. The deck was nice and so was the fishing pond. Mostly everything you need is in the kitchen, I only took my favorite sharp knife and my favorite frying pan but there are several pots and pans there along with utensils. Don't forget to take kitchen towels with you if you plan on preparing food at the cabin. The cabin is quite secluded and way off the main roads so it might be helpful if you make a grocery list. Athens is the largest city around and is about half an hour away and there is all the grocery stores you need there. There is also a marathon station in Stewart that has cold drinks, pizza, and gas. Amesville had a pizza shop and a diner. We had Verizon for cell phone service and we could not get reception. The WIFI works well so it helped with searching for places to go and it loaded google maps and saved the course for navigation when we left the cabin. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks Mark!!
