                          Wonderful cottage and town

                          5 of 5
This cottage was idyllic and the owner anticipated a wide variety of our needs, making it a breeze to settle in and enjoy our time there with our dog. The house was clean and orderly, and we were super comfortable. If you have a kayak, paddleboard or canoe (or fishing gear), take them (or you can rent kayaks in town) - there is public ramp just for personal watercraft a couple of blocks away on the main waterfront. The main part of town is only a couple blocks away, and we walked to just about everything, the only exception being when we used the two bikes provided by the owner. Edenton is like something out of a southern storybook (be prepared to wave and say hello to everyone you come across - everyone is extremely friendly) and if you love small towns I guarantee you'll find yourself wondering if you can afford one of the picture-perfect cottages in the historic neighborhood.

                          Very nice, clean and peaceful

                          4 of 5
The guest house felt like home and not just a place to stay and sleep.

                          A Comfortable Stay

                          5 of 5
Our traveling party of five from Texas spent four nights in mid-June at the property for an advancement ceremony at the US Coast Guard Air Station in Elizabeth City. Our location was about a 20-minute drive from the station, and offered everything we could hope for in a place to stay and gather. The owner, Michael, makes every effort to provide a home that is comfortable and secure. Check in was simple. We arrived late the first evening and found everything in order. The house is immaculate and well-appointed with high end appliances and a television in almost every room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return the next time our son attends training at the Air Station. We give it our highest recommendation.
