    Recent L'Anse aux Meadows Reviews

    Cozy, we'll stocked upgrade

    4 of 5
Our host offered us an upgrade to his two bedroom ocean front cottage which was even closer to L'anse aux Meadows National Historic site than Southwest Pond Cabins. It's technically part of Snorri Cabins but is a few hundred meters up the road and situated on a cove with great views at water level. The weather was foggy and just hovering above freezing for our stay, so we appreciated coming "home" to the warm, dry comfort of our cabin. The small cove where the cabin is situated had its own beauty with the sea ice that had so much of the north east coast of Newfoundland locked in during our stay. The kitchen is well appointed with nearly every gadget you could need. The red theme was a fun touch. The invite to live music for the start of the Iceberg Festival was appreciated. The place felt clean and newly renovated and as if we were the first to stay in it. Decent WiFi and satellite TV. My husband and I highly recommend this cottage.
