Bordered by the East River, visitors may also reach Brooklyn by way of the 'Water Taxi.' The taxi provides passage from various points along the East River in Manhattan and is able to ferry clients to Brooklyn's bustling shores.

Recent Brooklyn Reviews

At first it was a little iffy, but once we got inside and met the owner we felt more at ease.

The place was nice and cozy as described. We weren't really there much but when we were we had not a care in the world. He had everything set up for us. He was very friendly and accomodating. He even carried our 60 lbs suitcases upstairs lol. All and all it was a great experience. We will definitely stay here again when we come to New York.

Home away from Home

5 of 5
We loved this loft apartment & will definitely stay again when visiting NYC. We arrived late evening in terrible weather. Carole helped us to the shining clean loft where it was a great size, really warm & welcoming; flufffy towels, tea & coffee, water, cereal, snacks, condiments & bathroom supplies were just some of the things left to start us off. The beds are sooooo comfy & the TV was handy to entertain our Daughter. The apartment is located about 10 steps from the B38 bus which takes you directly to Downtown Brooklyn, great shopping area & has direct links into Manhattan. There is a lot of services in the local neighborhood including a supermarket, dollar stores & lots of eateries if you just want to take a day out from the City. We went to Mary’s Cafe down the street, the food & service was great & better value than both Downtown & Midtown although we did visit ‘Juniors’ on a few occasions. We vote Carole & Bev the best homeaway landlords that we have had the pleasure of dealing with, the attention to detail was fantastic & we will definitely be recommending them to our friends & family when visiting NY.
