Visitors can engage in the latest craze of walking on large beach balls on a sundeck with the Wildwood sign in the backdrop. Three piers are equipped with water parks and more than 150 rides. Once the sun goes down, the nightlife kicks into high gear with lounges, bars, and entertainment from leading headliners.
  • Award-Winning Ocean City: The Travel Channel has showcased this venue as award-winning. Home to one of the longest boardwalks in the state is located here. The 2.5-mile trek has a music venue along with several restaurants and water parks. Themed miniature golfing centers and amusement parks add more diversity for visitors. Watching the sunrise, riding surreys and bikes, or fishing are events to take part in.
  • Cape May Promenade: The original boardwalk was replaced in 1962 with a concrete promenade. It comes with fantastic views of the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean. Park benches, ice cream shops, and various restaurants accent the image of this inviting feature. Arcades have replaced the customary amusement parks. From this vantage point, break-taking sunrises and sunsets can be enjoyed.

Experience Cape May

The only cape in the state is located here. A ferry to neighboring Delaware departs several times per day. Swimming and snorkeling in Cape May can fill sunny days along with time kayaking. A stop at Sunset Beach delivers spectacular sunsets and views of the SS Atlantus also called the Concrete Ship. South NJ Shore Climate

May through October is the ideal time to visit this Northeaster haven. Temperatures are mild to hot with the ocean breezes swirling. While the boardwalk is accessible year-round, a number of amenities are not open to the public. Dress in the summer is typical beachwear with winters demanding coats.
