            Great stay at Villa Marbella

            5 of 5
14 of our family and friends spent 5 nights at the Villa Marbella. We had an amazing week. Great house, great views, great location, and best of all the staff and food. Rodrigo made the most amazing breakfasts and dinners we could imagine. Leo did a great job of making plans for us, and keeping our glasses full of his margaritas and daiquiris.

The villa was wonderful with all the space and facilities we needed. It 'felt' new and was always clean and tidy.

            Fantastic experience!

            5 of 5
"The whole trip was just fantastic. Really, I don't know how many times we all said " this place is unbelievable", at least every day! The house is just spectacular, it is so well laid out, so comfortable, so beautifully decorated. One or both of you have a great eye for accessorizing. We loved all of the unique mirrors, "angels", the fabulous light in the living room, the beautiful wood doors everywhere, on and on. As great as the house was, the gardens were amazing. So beautifully planned, and so well maintained. It really was a slice of heaven. So much so that we found it hard to go into town much. The pictures really don't do any of it justice. You can see in the photos that it is a beautiful place, but when you are there in person, it is breathtaking. But I really don't know if you could even capture the beauty in a photograph anyway. We even sat and watched whales out in the ocean, using the binoculars you had there, very much appreciated. As for the staff, Mayra was very sweet, she makes this finely diced salsa, I had it on everything! She and I communicated for the most part by Google translate. Worked like a charm. She made a nice variety of foods, and we were all spoiled by the fresh squeezed juices every morning! She sure keeps the house in great shape! As for Miguel, he couldn't have been nicer. We used the Google translate as well, if there was anything to ask about. He is a talented gardener, to say the least. Our friend is a floral designer in LA. She was very impressed with all of the plants, gardens, etc. As she said, none of this would look good if there wasn't someone constantly maintaining and trimming, etc. Tere was great as well. She checked on us and helped coordinate things. We appreciated all of her help. We didn't feel like the staff was in the way, we really appreciated all that they did for us. Also, we did not have any trouble with taxis, in fact they arrive in about 2 minutes after calling. We loved our dinner at Arrayan, and we were warmly welcomed by Claudia. It was really a great week, one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever taken. Thanks again for sharing this special place us!
