                      Best view in Maine!

                      5 of 5
We spent 2 great weeks here. Wonderful, comfortable home with all the amenities. Cook's kitchen, new beds, W/d, dishwasher and separate restaurant size refrigerator and freezer - with ice maker! And wifi and cable tv! Unique amenities in Maine. But you will spend your time on the porch looking at the crashing surf. Love this house!

Perfect Mix of Old and New

                      5 of 5
Half old coastal cottage and half newly renovated vacation home, this was a great place to escape to. There were five of us, including two kids and my mother-in-law. There are three private bedrooms and space in some of the large common spaces for more folks to sleep, if needed. Lots of space and good light throughout. The views of the cove as the tide rolls in and out are ever-changing and beautiful. We walked the quiet roads around the cove area every morning and evening, went across the peninsula to the beach and historic site, down the peninsula to the lighthouse, and took the ferry out to Monhegan one day to wander around. We also spent a day over at the Botanical Garden of Coastal Maine near Boothbay, one of the finest gardens we've been to. The owners of the house have left clear and easy instructions on everything about the house and were wonderful and responsive. We don't get up to Maine every year, but we hope to return to this house in the future and recommend it highly.

                      In love with the Ledges.

                      5 of 5
Sitting on porch with ocean breeze and million dollar view of the ledges made it difficult to leave this charming house to do more sightseeing. We had lobster from the co-op with fresh corn from Riley's and home made lobster rolls. Strolled around to sandy beach and cooled off with a dip in the bay. If you are looking for your dream of a place to relax in Maine you have found it in this property.
