Quaint, Charming with Great Family Pride.

5 of 5
It was all and a bit more than expected. From a slight problem finding this jewel located in a quiet community 17 miles from busy Munich. The family owners helped us find it and the find was well worth the hunt. A wooden cottage built in the 1850's and reconditioned to make it enjoyable in the 21st century. A two story home of old is situated among trees and other beautiful landscaped areas of the cottage. The collection of old wooden frame buildings associated with the cottage is reminiscent of a "Bavaria of Old." . The old world atmosphere is highlighted by modern conveniences like a hot tub, and sauna. The owner managers are exceptional in their care of guests and in assuring their enjoyment of the property. This is an exceptional property with exceptional people running it.

Excellent property, peaceful and quiet.

My entire family enjoyed the peaceful natural setting of this property. It is conveniently located not too far from the airport and we found it a good base for all our visits to the Freising and Munich area. The house itself is laid out very well with sleeping areas in each floor, a well equipped kitchen and dining room and modern AV equipment in the living room. We found all the things necessary for a very comfortable stay during the three nights we were there. We also spend a lot of time out in the patio and in the backyard soaking in the sun and enjoying our food and drinks. The town of Haag is very quaint with a nice large beer garden which we enjoyed. There is also a bathing lake close to the property which the kids loved to swim in. There are little things such as a phone land-line in the house with unlimited calls within Germany that make it all the more convenient. The WiFi was pretty high speed and worked great. The owner, Christoph, went out of the way to take care of our needs. He met us at the property when we checked in and was there when we checked out and was reachable all the time. We found him to be very friendly and helpful. Overall, this is a great place and I would definitely come back here in future and would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet of the countryside and at the same time needing convenient access to the city.
