                      Like a second home :)

This was our second year staying here ~ we loved it so much the first time that this time we stayed two weeks & are planning to stay two weeks in 2014. There is the best family owned donut shop up the road (Thomas' Donut Shop) but be sure to call ahead to order the most awesome home made apple fritters. Then just down the road (within walking distance) is Mike's Oyster Bar & Restaurant ~ they have the best fresh seafood & don't be surprised if you get to visit with Mike himself while you are there. This unit at the Summer Breeze Condo has all you need for a fun family oriented vacation, is just across the street from the ocean & is close enough to Pier Park, Wal-Mart & such to be convenient but far enough away that the beaches aren't too crowded. The water is the same crystal clear water you see in Cozumel, the waves are nice for boogie boarding but not so strong as to wear you out after a few hours - perfect for a full day spent out with the kids. If you go out to the beach just before sunset, make a right and take a walk you just might be able to find the sweet spot for really awesome shekels the kids & I found. Absolutely the best time ever .... Can't wait to go back!
