However, if you plan to swim, you may want to plan your trip around the warmer months of the year, which are from May through September. Highway 528 transitions into Highway A1A to take you to Cocoa Beach. Some private marinas have daily or weekly rates for docking, so you may also choose to take your boat to Cocoa Beach.
