We stayed here for four nights with our family of five in the lower floor apartment and rented bedding. The apartment and the property are beautiful and well maintained. Our children immediately fell in love with the owner's (Ute) chocolate labs and then discovered the chocolate lab puppies. Wasn't sure I was going to get them to actually leave after that. I would describe the grounds as a well kept gentleman's farm, with a few sheep, horses and rabbits surrounding, which the children loved to explore. You can swim in the lined pond if you wish, though be prepared to have the dogs for company. The property is located near the three point border of Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany. Aachen, Germany and Liege, Belgium, and Maastritch, The Netherlands are all short drives away. The property provides a clothes washer and line drying. The kitchen is well equipped with silverware, dishes, cups and appliances but plan to bring your own consumables (dish soap, detergent, etc). The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bath was very nice. The owners provided excellent customer service and were very friendly. Frankly, we would have liked to spend more time just enjoying the property but had a fairly busy schedule that usually returned us late in the evening. We definitely recommend this property and plan to come back in the future to enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.
