We have travelled around the world. We believe the Big Island is truly 'heaven on earth'
Lenna purchased this house in 2011
We were vacationing in this area and after a mere three days, we decided we wanted to own. We chose this spectacular home, as it was newly constructed, in a rural setting, on a one acre lot, and beautifully landscaped.
Away from the hustle and bustle ... But close enough to amenities
You have a beautiful holiday home and it was perfect for us the kids especially loved the pool. I was in admiration of the gardens. They are absolutely beautiful.
We especially loved the Kapoho tide pools and hot spring. Hilo is a wonderful place to discover the island and we hope to return again within the next few years .
Thanks once again for making everything so easy. If only all travel was that organised.
.This is a wonderful home set in an amazing landscaped paradise. The property has everything needed to bring balance and harmony to the traveler as all needs are provided for in a clean and desirable setting. The pool is professionally maintained and very private. The beds and couches are really comfortable, the bathrooms are well stocked, and the layout of the home is very well thought out. The kitchen has all the appliances one would ever need to prepare wonderful meals and there are bananas, papayas, limes, and pineapples in the gardens for the picking. The owners were very gracious and easy to work with.We hope to return sometime soon and look forward to another wonderful stay!
Everything - the house, the grounds, the owners, etc, were better than we could have ever hoped for. Secluded enough for a private getaway yet close enough to civilization to easily get your necessities. The owner made us feel welcome from the very start and the house invites you to enjoy yourself from the moment you arrive. Rare for a rental, everything works and works well, no skimping on amenities, no lists of "don'ts" in every room - instead you will find thoughtful artistic additions and beautifully maintained furnishings. We were already talking about returning before we even left. The grounds are incredible; just when you think you've seen all of the flowers you find even more... they were abundant and we clipped a beautiful bouquet to enjoy inside as well. Fruit and veggies to snack on too! Roomy...clean... beautiful views.... a bargain at twice the price. As stated before, the owners were exceptional, helpful, and friendly - we appreciate the hospitality and plan to return again soon! Bill & Ellen
Awesome house with lots of room and beautiful well manicured yard with lots of space and privacy. There were four adults and three kids in our group and lots of room for all of us, the best stay we had while travelling among three of the islands. Kids enjoyed the pool and great location to nearby Volcano National Park, tide pools, thermal springs, Hilo, and Botanical Gardens. Lenna was also a great host, very helpful and prompt response, definitely would stay here again and highly recommend.
We drove up, unlocked the private gate and realized we had stumbled into Paradise. Paradise Park lives up to the neighborhood's name as this home was truly paradise for us. From the beautiful gardens with dozens of species, to the gorgeous interior surrounded by high ceilings and wood beams, we immediately fell in love. We didn't plan on using the pool much, but it is much larger than we thought and right outside the master bedroom on the porch. The water was crystalline and irresistible. We swam multiple times each day for a quick cool off and were in love looking out at sun, clouds and beautiful black bamboo trees and all the other beauty of nature which surrounded us. This was one of the most private residences we stayed at and we had no concerns about walking around with little clothing all over the grounds outside, which made for a really unique experience unlike any other. Our time at this perfect vacation home allowed for personal reflection and to become re-grounded, our lives at home were left behind as an after thought and we only wondered when we might make it back as our time ended too quickly. The kitchen was the most well stocked of any vacation home we have stayed at with literally every cooking tool you can imaginably need with plenty of spices if you hadn't brought your own. The owners were very helpful with things to do in the area, of which there are plenty, although you may want to plan for at least 2 days of staying on the property and doing absolutely nothing. We enjoyed Hilo but it was a treat to retreat back to Paradise Park and once again get away from what felt like all of civilizations. Hands down one of our favorite places on the big island!
We went to Hawaii for a big family vacation. This house is really well maintained, clean, spacious far away from neighbourough. We really enjoyed our time over there.
The owner is always replying quickly to question and really nice.
The only cons : the sofa bed is definitly not confortable.
We had a wonderful weeklong stay at this beautiful home. It was conveniently located for our explorations on the island and a wonderful place to come back to, relax and share with our island family members. We really enjoyed the pool (it was hard to get my two young boys out of it!). The gardens were stunning, not to mention the old lava flow running through the property! And the Coqui frogs at night were soothing to most of us as long as they were not on the window :) The home was very well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to the Big Island! Mahalo for the wonderful stay!
