We have travelled around the world. We believe the Big Island is truly 'heaven on earth'
Lenna purchased this house in 2011
We were vacationing in this area and after a mere three days, we decided we wanted to own. We chose this spectacular home, as it was newly constructed, in a rural setting, on a one acre lot, and beautifully landscaped.
Away from the hustle and bustle ... But close enough to amenities
You have a beautiful holiday home and it was perfect for us the kids especially loved the pool. I was in admiration of the gardens. They are absolutely beautiful.
We especially loved the Kapoho tide pools and hot spring. Hilo is a wonderful place to discover the island and we hope to return again within the next few years .
Thanks once again for making everything so easy. If only all travel was that organised.
Property is amazing! Fruit trees blooming in one area, others producing fruit-- papaya, pineapples, bananas, avocados, oranges at different times. Orchids in all the trees, each blooming at their particular time. Walking among all the beautiful plants& trees in the garden is truly walking in paradise. Pool to cool off in on hot days. Coqui frogs sing you to sleep while the roosters crow in the distance..A wonderful place for a vacation, close to all attractions.
We enjoyed our stay at Lenna & Michel's house. It was *very* well equipped, and even had water shoes - which came in handy when we went to the Kapoho tidepools.
Unfortunately the weather was quite cold, so we didn't use the pool much (which was very cold because of the weather). And because of the rain the solar water heater also didn't provide much hot water...totally because of us -- we discovered on our last day that we could change the hot water heater setting so it was not 100% solar.
We enjoyed staying here! Lenna was *terrific* at getting back to us, and the very few things that needed to be done were completed *very* quickly. I'd definitely recommend this home!
We really enjoyed the house and property. The water in the pool seemed fresh and clean and was great for the few hot sunny days. The kitchen was well stocked and great for preparing our fresh fish etc. The laundry room was wonderful to have. The beds were comfortable and let in great outdoor light. Really well sealed windows in case you want to leave out the sound of the coquis . Some nights they seemed louder but not bothersome with the bedroom window closed. We especially liked how private the location is. We would definitely like to rent this house again on our next visit to the big island. Definitely recommended 😊
We cannot say enough how great this home was. Very comfortable and very private! Anything you would need is already here, beach towels, snorkel gear, beach bags and a fully stocked kitchen with any cooking utensils you would ever need. Washer and dryer a huge plus (very nice and new). We were very happy with everything and when we visit the island again, we hope to stay here. BTW to anyone, go to Kaleo's and get the lilikoi cheesecake! Also, only 10-15 minutes to a grocery store in either direction when you are leaving the HPP subdivision. Mahalo nui loa.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends and family. Only cons we saw was there were a few chipped dishes. All in great little hide away. Mahalo piha
We had a lovely time here. The house was really comfortable and a real home away from home. We all the loved the pool, a welcome addition for the kids to relax and play in. Great to have all the amenities and we really appreciated your friendliness and all the help and information you provided for our holiday.
