Our home is located right on the water in Oak Creek Canyon and is just 4 miles from up town Sedona! The creek is stocked with Rainbow Trout if fishing is your thing....and the deck has a grill and eating area if you want to grill it! Not into cooking, a great deli/store that also serves breakfast is located right across the road. Enjoy long strolls on the forest service road that is right outside your door. Hiking of all levels is abundant in the canyon and swimming/tubing in the creek during warmer months is a wonderful way to spend your day! And, Slide Rock is just a few miles down the road. If shopping, golfing, gambling, dining, four-wheeling or sight-seeing is your thing, you are only minutes away to everything Sedona and Northern Arizona has to offer including the wild animal park, Bearizona and Indian ruins. And, if you've never been or want to go again, we are close enough for a day-trip to the Grand Canyon too!

About Barbara Pancrazio
We, Angelo and Barbara, are partners in life (married 30 years) as well as partners in business. At one time, we owned and operated a Food Service Brokerage business in the Phoenix area. But 'wised up' and moved to beautiful Sedona where we now are licensed realtors with Coldwell Banker First Affiliate.
Barbara Pancrazio purchased this Cottage in 2004
Why Barbara Pancrazio chose Sedona
Having lived up high on a hill in the canyon many years, we longed to live on the creek. So in 2004, we found what we consider to be the best spot in Arizona and loving it ever since, our Cottage on Oak Creek! Barbara's parents developed and opened Rainbow Trout Farm in the early 1960's which is located just south of the cottage so this is home! Angelo was a 'city boy', originally from Chicago, but now you can't get him out of his jeans and the country lifestyle.
What makes this Cottage unique
Mother Nature provides many pleasures for us to enjoy year around in Oak Creek Canyon. The snow fall in the winter is just enough to satisfy our need to see it fall and then it melts within a day or so. We must admit, however, that when spring comes, we can hardly wait to have cocktail hour on the back deck overlooking Oak Creek. Wild life is everywhere and we have been privileged to see eagles, blue heron flying overhead, deer on the back road and even a skunk swimming in the creek. And yet, a great deli is just across the street and uptown Sedona is only 4 miles away! What's not to love!

Like staying in a museum
Place was well kept and had a back deck right on Oak Creek in the Indian Gardens. We will return to that place again
Our aim i to please and then some.....It is always so gratifying to know our guests are happy and want to come back!
Cozy Retreat on the Creek
Loved this place for its location on Oak Creek in a private community close to the Indian Creek Cafe which was fabulous. We were far enough north of town that we avoided visitor traffic. We didn't really want to spend our time cooking but the place has a great cook's kitchen if you're so inclined. The beds were comfortable and the deck was a great place to have coffee in the morning and relax in the afternoon. We were far enough away from the touristy areas of downtown and our friends were just a few houses away so this was perfect for my husband and I and our adult daughter. Love that the owner left a parking pass for the area parks and trails. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks Barbara!
Location is Everything
Wonderful location. The television in the bedroom didn't work but we didn't come to watch TV so no biggie. The grassy side yard was very convenient for our small dogs. The deck was a little crowded for us but the view was great. There was chicken wire wrapped around the bottom of the deck which prevented things from falling off (it's a ways down). The gated entry gave you a lot more privacy than you might otherwise get along Oak Creek on a weekend. Just wish we could have stayed another day (or longer...).
Just four miles from the tourist packed town of Sedona you feel totally connected to nature.
The clear, rushing creek just out the door with a large deck is enough to keep you wanting to just stay put and soak up the sights and sounds of a very special place. Wish we lived close enough to visit regularly. Barbara was most accomodating and gracious.
Super cute cottage. Patio overlooking the creek is amazing.
Great location just a ways outside of town
I enjoyed our stay and the beautiful creek. I liked getting breakfast across the street so 4 stars. I think based on other hotels in the area, etc.. that this cabin is slightly overpriced for what it is. No garbage disposal, the shower curtain falls too easily.pros— It is quaint and serene and clean. I don’t mind the tape on switches but Labeling with label makers .. I think that would look much nicer. This place has a lot of their personal items too, which is what it is . The mattress and thick foam pillows are the worst I’ve slept on though throughout my 3 week road trip. My husband says he would give them 3 stars.
As always, this review is appreciated.....it helps us to grow and be better hosts....thank you! I do want to point out that because of the type of septic we are required to have being right on the creek, a garbage disposal has not been an option for the property. We have replaced the shower curtain holders and hopefully the new ones work better. Again, always wanting to know what our guests are thinking and looking forward to meeting those vacationers who want to stay on the creek in Cottage on Oak Creek!
Oak Creek Canyon , where our home is located, is just outside of Sedona which has been named as one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Outdoor activities include Slide Rock which is a natural water rock 'slide' created through eons of years by the running waters of Oak Creek as well as a plethora of hiking trails. Sedona features many restaurants, shopping, outdoor activities and natural red rock scenery. This area is known for the Native American wares available as well as its Fine Arts. A short drive will take you to Jerome, a ghost town and historic copper mining community, that is now a fun-filled sight-seeing destination. So much to do!
