Awesome property!!!

  • 5 of 5

WhiteCap Lodge in Breckenridge is an outstanding rental property.   The home is huge with higher end furnishings not usually found in rental units, even down to the remote operated shades throughout the house.  Everything throughout the home was in perfect working order during our stay; the place was immaculate upon arrival.  The views from the unit are gorgeous pretty much from all rooms in the home with lots of windows.  The location is perfect in a quieter residential area with only a short drive into Breckenridge for dining, skiing, shopping, etc.  Super convenient without the hassle of being right in the town area.  I highly recommend this unit for two guests that want lots of space to larger groups or families that want to stay together.

We will stay at this property, again!

  • 5 of 5

Note that this property is up on the hillside above Breck. The views are wonderful and it is quiet. I would get up and walk the neighborhood in the morning and certainly didn't miss the crowds below along the main drag (this is our 7th visit to Breck--we are early 50's with teenagers traveling with friends on this trip as well as with my nephew, his wife, and their children under the age of 10). The pictures on the website are SPOT ON.This is a three story townhome. During our visit, there was a family occupying the property next to us, but we NEVER heard them. There were at least 8 people next door as witnessed heading to the slopes in the morning. Speaking of--there is a shuttle pick up right in front of the prop, or, all the YouTube videos provided by the mgmnt co "teach" you how to ski-in/ski-out. From the prop, you walk across the street, ski thru the trees, and you're in! It would be tricky for a first time skier, but doable. The 1st floor of the property has a spacious bath, and a bunk room that can sleep, oh, 6 under the age of ten? Or, one teen to each of the three beds (our situation). GREAT setup. They had their own space (television, too) and their own floor. On this 1st floor, there is access to the garage; super convenient for storing skis, unloading groceries, etc. The property even provides sleds! (Good sledding run right by the ski in and out area across the street!) You can fit one car in the garage, and there is parking for 2 more outside. The 2nd floor has a bdrm with a queen, a bath, the kitchen and living area--and a patio (with a grille and a cooler-- yeah!). The furnishings in this property are immaculate. Very comfortable mattresses and bedding and wonderful amenities in the kitchen! Everything feels top-notch from the pottery, barware and silverware to the quality of the sheets and towels. The owners and/or mngmt do a great job providing recommendations for restaurants and shopping and the wifi strength and cable are great! It was nice to let the kids take over the 2nd floor while adults enjoyed the hot tub. Once the sun sets, you can sit in the hot tub and watch the snow groomers thru the lodge pole pines moving along the peak. Super cool. The 3rd floor has a queen bdrm and a master bdrm that share a very spacious bath. This bathroom has a bidet! The views from the master bdrm are breathtaking and you have a private patio/fireplace and flat screen in this bdrm. Our stay was perfect -- felt like home. -R & J Wilcox

First Class in Every Way

  • 5 of 5

A quick trip for two couples to grab some skiing and fun in Breck before the crowds. The place was very clean with top flight amenities - a great kitchen and family/media room for everyone to hang out. The view from the hot tub was great - we could watch them grooming the slopes at night. The neighborhood was very nice - great views and a short drive down the mountain into town ( less than 5 minutes ). We would definitely go back - really enjoyed Breckenridge and the accommodations where top flight.

Beautiful and Well-appointed Upscale Living

  • 5 of 5

The owners spared no expense as they think of absolutely everything for your stay down to the welcome bottle of wine and keurig coffee and tea. The home is beautifully furnished and appointed with all amenities you could ask for. The 3 levels of living provided a great deal of privacy and space for our group of 5. We would highly recommend this location to others.

Ok

Nice views new home feel but the space being devised on the 3 floors make it difficult for a party of more than 4 to share the living room and couches . The duplex structure and noisy naibourghs made it difficult to rest . There were times when on the other side of the duplex were 5 or 6 parked cars makeing it difficult to get in and out .

Low water pressure for showers noise from ,heater and house fan on lower level no closet space on the lower level

Also far from town . 1.7 miles made it difficult to walk to dinner

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your feedback. The home is definitely a bit of a walk to downtown. While ski access is definitely close, we would advise driving or taking an Uber/cab for dinners.
