His charming little port, bustling restaurant, will welcome you.

when we first arrvied at property seemed very nice & pleasant met gisselle & christen who seemed very pleasant , we thought it was a private pool & surroundings to be shared with gissele & christen , which was fine villa seemed fine a cpl of broken windows & decor is very tired.
we went to pool was dissapointed as there is no hammock as shown in pictures & general garden state was very poor not as in pictures , the sun loungers were in a poor state of repair some were ripped & broken some were nearly ripped . we were enjoying our selves in the pool as a family does on holiday but gissele came storming out & told us off like naughty school children , we were quite shocked but we apologised . on our second week gissele & chrstian left earlyone morning & a another family turned up which we did not know anything about . later on that day they all got into the pool as well & introduced themselves as gisseles family & that they were there to stay for a week or two . that night we were kept awake by there baby crying all night ( not that we have a problem with that as we have got childern of our own) so next day we decided to take ourselves of to the beach for the morning ,which we had a great time at , we walked back thinking we would have a relax around the pool but was quite shocked to see 3 other cars there with there families around the pool & pool area so we went & sat in the villa instead which was not great haveing to put up with shouting & sceaming from there childern & adults.
the following day same thing happend more or less more of there friends & families turned up enjoying the pool area that which we had paid for !
on the following day we asked when gissele would be home to be told she would be home following day & that if there was any problems to speak to the family that was there (her daughter) so said we shall speak with gissele as that who we signed a contract with . the following day gissele arived back while we were in the pool area gissele came storming in shouting at us followed by christian shouting at us in french waveing his arms about , we expained our situation of how the pool area was suposed to be for owners ( gissele & christian ) named on the contract to be told that all of her family were owners & that any of them could use the pool & villa which we were quite shocked about not just because of the shouting & screaming from them but also to be told it wasnt just for gissele & christian but for all of there family/friends.
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment, Giselle and Christian are great hosts. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and clean and the garden is beautiful with a great swimming pool. It is a very tranquil place and an easy walk through back streets to the beach and La Ciotat town.
Thank you Giesle and Christian for a wonderful stay in your apartment. La Ciotat and the area around is a beautiful place to vacation. We appreciate your kindness, and enjoyed every day.
L'appartement est très confortable, bien équipé, entretenu et aménagé avec goût;

Me, my boyfriend and my parents stayed for one week at Giselle and Christians' villa at the end of September. We had a wonderful holiday, Giselle, Christian and their family were lovely and made us feel at home and were very hospitable. The villa was very spacious, clean, comfortable and well equiped. We especially loved the heated pool which was set in a beautiful garden and spent a lot of time here relaxing in the sun! The location was perfect, very quiet and traquil but only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and the nearest shops, bars and restaurants. The town of La Ciotat is also lovely and has a picturesque harbour and calanque. It is also well sitauted to explore the calanques, Cassis, Marseille, and the Cote d'Azur. We have already recommended the villa to friends and we would most defintely return to the area and to Giselle and Christians villa for another holiday in the future. Thanks again, Gail and Family

Endroit idéal pour profiter pleinement de la douceure du Sud de la France . Merci à vous poir ces vacances guillaume Lucie et Calie
La Ciotat and its sandy beaches, pebble beaches and coves, has a remarkable asset: its gulf, very beautiful, is very sheltered by time Mistral. Its waters are protected. Moreover, one can indulge in sports medley, beaches to deep water, and get beaches providing extra security for the little ones: big beach beaches offer a low water several meters. In fact: it was a long walk on the beaches there, and c is the happiness of children. Restaurants and remarkable to note: the restaurant Revestel (Cape Liouquet) whose cuisine is very fine, and the frame breathtaking, the pizzeria 'Picasso' in Saint Jean (excellent pizzas), L'Escalet Harbour (very fresh and cooked products by the Masters of the places, very affordable price). Sandy and pebble in La Ciotat, the creeks and Figuerolles Mugel in La Ciotat, visit the Calanques on foot or by boat from La Ciotat, Cassis and Marseille, Tour of Calanques Park. Diving, sailing, Near Water Park, pedal ... The cove Mugel is located in the town of La Ciotat. The site is beautiful, one can indulge in s swimming with flippers and admire the seabed in front of the Green Island. This is where you can discover the exotic garden Mugel, remarkable for its location and the different species and exotic species that compose it. Besides, the cove Negue Foume offers outstanding views of the red cliffs of style 'pudding' dipping in water: the place is also very suitable for fitness swimming in calm weather. Many climbing locations are listed on these places, and that until around the creeks of Cassis, including for example En Vau, true green transparent green water between rocky limestone peaks and pine that dock on sides of the cove.
Visit the creeks by boat from La Ciotat, Cassis and Marseille, or on foot, if it's not too hot! You can also borrow from La Ciotat, car, Ridge Road, to Cassis, and there you will overhang the sea with breathtaking views from points of the highest cliffs in Europe. The sunsets are memorable on a perfectly calm sea.
Night market in La Ciotat and nearby towns such as Saint Cyr Les Lecques, Sanary Sur Mer, Bandol, Toulon. A La Ciotat, traditional local markets on Sunday morning downtown PORT, and Tuesday morning in the city center, traditional market figurines and pottery in Aubagne. Fireworks on all these cities, Marseille European Capital of Culture 'in 2013 with its museums, its old port, its various festivities on the 2013 season.
In the hinterland, the Aix En Provence area at the foot of the Sainte Victoire offers its old town and its pretty streets; the spa and university town is very picturesque, market Cours Mirabeau, specialties, museums with Impressionist painters such as Paul Cézanne.
A little more in the hinterland, in the heart of Provence, Avignon city and its Palais des Papes rayon and let us not forget the famous Pont D'Avignon! Around, the Alpilles and the Luberon, beautiful sites such as Baux de Provence, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Isle sur la Sorgue, the pretty Provencal villages such nurseries, as Eygalières, Roussillon and its ocher Provence, Lourmarin and its Castle, the Falls area, famous for its nougat and Bories. Also in this corner of Provence, Fontvieille and the Mill of Alphonse Daudet, the abbeys of Sénanque and Saint Michael Frigolet.
Further west of La Ciotat and Marseille, near, you can discover the Camargue, fully protected area where you can visit the bird park, with its thousands of birds, flamingos, ponds with mixed waters, reeds, bulls with the herds, Les Saintes Maries de la Mer on the Mediterranean, typical town built squarely on the beach with his Camargue houses with straw roofs.
A little further inland, after the Camargue, Arles with its famous Antiques and memory VIncent Van Gogh who lived long in these places (bullring in Arles, Van Gogh Museum ...)
To the east of La Ciotat you can drive to Saint Tropez whose reputation is no longer to do: a good hour from La Ciotat.
The Giens peninsula towards Hyères, is also a sailor and very interesting earthly place.
From there you can go by boat to the paradise island of Porquerolles (10 minutes by boat) or to the island of Port Cros (protected park for its flora and fauna). The trip to Port Cros is a bit longer (about 1 hour).
Monaco, Cannes and Nice are not far away. However, these are the sectors that will be better 'visitable' behind the season. In summer, traffic will become more difficult given the tourist season!
Happy holidays in Provence, Cote d'Azur !!
