The town home has intricately handcrafted oak cabinets made by a Danish cabinet maker who has been working in the trade for over 35 years. The kitchen countertops are a beatiful quartz granite-like Silestone that is a must see to believe. The second and third bedrooms are both theme rooms. The second bedroom is beautifully decorated with a southern California surf them. The third bedroom is done in an antique bedroom theme with beautiful antique bedposts and dressers. A must see as well !!!! The water heater has a 75 gallon capacity so you essentially have endless hot water.
The owner's family is recognized as the oldest operating family business in Imperial Beach. Our family moved to San Diego in the 1930's and we started our first business in Imperial Beach in 1943 when there were only 13 businesses in Imperial Beach. We are the only business that remains of those 13 businesses and we still own the building that that business was located in. My Grandfather bought the townhouse property in 1963 and I personally designed and built this home to my specifications from 2002 to 2005 completing this custom beach house in 2005. This beach house meets all the expectations of a home built for the personal use of a family that expects all the amenities of a personal family home.

This property is centrally located along the beach strip in Imperial Beach. You cannot get a better location at this beach. It is a maximum 5 block walk north or south along the beach strip to any and all beach businesses.

This is our 3rd summer renting this lovely Beach house for the month of July. We just love it!
Everything has been provided to make sure guests are comfortable and happy. It is a very well designed home, with fully equipped kitchen, dining and family room, powder room and laundry facility on the first floor. The second floor has a beautiful master suite with a balcony, and two other bedrooms with a shared full bath between. The rooftop patio is the perfect place to watch the most beautiful sunsets.
The owners, Rob and Louella, and the vacation rental manager, Nancy, are close by and always available to assist and accommodate their guests. They are the perfect owner hosts.
Imperial Beach is a quiet little Beach town, with great restaurants, a wonderful hotel for happy hour and dinner, and lots of little quaint shops. The pier is a great place to sit and watch the surfers and other beach activities, as well as enjoy great fish tacos and clam chowder. The beach itself is a quick walk (less than 5 minutes) and is always clean.
Once you park your car, you really do not need it to travel around IB. But all the wonders of SanDiego and Coronado Island are minutes away by car.
The perfect vacation spot in the perfect beach house. I would strongly recommend this rental to anyone I know. We will keep coming back.
Very comfortable and spacious beach house! Steps to the beach, Imperial Pier & a local Farmers Market. From an amazing entertainment system inside to the Rooftop Patio with a ocean view upstairs, this house has it all. The host, Nancy, is very friendly and has made our stay here truly special.
My husband and I rented the house for 2 months holiday and we had an amazing stay there. We loved the house from the very beginning. Its very spacious, beautifully furnished with fully equipped kitchen ( toaster, blender, rice cooker, plenty of pans, plates and glasses). Fridge comes with water filter. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. The neighbors very friendly ( the same owners of the house: they were always there happy to help at any time, making sure that we had superb stay). It takes 3 minutes to walk to the beach and pier. We walked there a lot, sometimes even at 2-3 am ( very safe area - we never had any problems or saw any trouble ). The beach is gorgeous - not too busy during the day, and just so beautiful at the sunset ( we took stunning pictures ).There are nice restaurants within walking distance - we liked the Thai one a lot. And a gym ( that one is 5 min away driving or 15 min walking ) that you can join for a month for 50 dollars. There is a very good connection ( bus/trolley ) to central San Diego if you want to leave your car behind. Nice shopping centers and grocery stores where you can buy all organic within 15 mile distance. I would definitely recommend this house. If we ever get an opportunity to go back to San Diego I would love to stay there again! Lidia :)
Imperial Beach is a small beach community in South Bay San Diego. It has a small town feel & you can walk to many restaurants & bars. It is one of the last real southern California beach towns that has not been changed by developers. There are surf shops to rent equipment & several cafes with outside dining. In addition, there are two oceanfront parks, one Fed/State Wildlife Refuge, and many miles of open wide sandy beaches. The San Diego Zoo & Sea World are only 20-25 minutes away by car. The owner's family have been part of the Imperial Beach community since 1943. All we can say is we love this beach !!!

The townhome is available for a monthly rental only for a 30-day minimum. $4000 monthly, $500 security deposit, & a $150 Cleaning Fee. 50% of your total booking fee is required within 3 days of your contract. The balance is due 30 days prior to your stay. For booking please email Louella with requested booking dates.
