You’ll love exploring San Diego like a local while staying in this comfortable Spanish cottage located in hip and eclectic Normal Heights. Walk to San Diego’s best restaurants, cafes, bars and antique shops. Only 10 minutes from the airport and centrally located.

We very much enjoyed this nicely appointed cottage. Breakfast on the back patio was s great way to start the day. The cottage had everything we needed with lots of great decorator touchs. Beds were very comfortable.
Took advantage of the walkable restaurants and pub. Even a great bottle shop. Would definitely stay again.
This house is *exactly* as it looks in the photos - adorable, inviting, and relaxing, inside and out. Dangerously easy to make yourself at home here/never want to leave! The neighborhood was quiet & lined with similarly quaint houses, yet downtown was less than a 15min drive and any and all other conveniences even less. The house is stocked with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay, and the owner was easy to talk with and super accommodating. I have absolutely no complaints! Would stay here again, would recommend it to a friend, and we joked we would probably try to buy the place if it were ever in the market. All the stars. :D
I stayed in this charming little house in Normal Heights with my mom and sister for a birthday getaway. What a nice little house with a private backyard. It was clean, comfortable, relaxing and close to restaurants, Balboa Park and only about 15 away from the beach. We enjoyed our stay here and the owner made sure we were comfortable. Some of our favorite nearby restaurants were Hanna's Gourmet and Venice Pizza House.
My husband, daughter, and I stayed here when we were in town for San Diego State's orientation. It was perfect for us. Very convenient to campus and everywhere else we wanted to visit during our stay. We liked the private back yard so much we decided to grill something for dinner two of the three nights we were here! But there are many terrific restaurants in the neighborhood. Check out the Great Maple for breakfast and Hanna's Gourmet for dinner. The house itself is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed (except charcoal for the grill. It wasn't a problem to pick up a bag, but you might want to check before you go shopping). There is a Von's very close to the house for groceries and wine and beer. My daughter and I felt perfectly comfortable going for a walk around the neighborhood after dinner. I highly recommend this house and this neighborhood for your next visit to San Diego.
I used to live in Normal Heights and it was wonderful to feel like I was back at home. This house makes for an easy stay complete with easy instructions, simple and comfortable furnishings, a quiet street in a lively neighborhood. We would hope to stay here on our next visit.
From the time we arrived until the day we left this house worked out wonderfully. It is everything it claims to be and so much more.
It is close to Adams Avenue that has fantastic restaurants and charm. We visited the zoo, beaches, a street fair, the local ice cream shop, ate at Ponces (a must eatery) and walked to church!
The two bedrooms were spacious, the bathroom was well stocked with towels (the beach towels were an added surprise) and even a hair dryer!
The house has a well equipped kitchen, an eating area, an outdoor patio with lounge chairs, with a grill plus a washer and dryer.
Tricia is a great hostess, she is wonderful to work with! We can't wait to come back!
