This is our 3rd stay at this home and we just love it. The management company is very responsive. The hot tub was ready to go the day we showed up. Allows dogs too! Fenced in front and back yard. All the convenience of home!
If you're looking for a great location close to town, this house is for you! The house is spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked that every bedroom had its own bathroom, so there is a lot of privacy for each couple. Plus, you can walk to the downtown area in just a couple of minutes.
We also had an issue with the hot tub -- it was warm, not hot, when we got in our first night (brrrrr!) and we were unable to adjust the temperature. We called Lakeshore Lodging the next morning and someone was out to address the issue within the hour. My recommendation is to check the temp as soon as you arrive to make sure it's set properly for when you first get in. Aside from a few other minor things here and there due to age of the house, we had a great stay and will definitely be back!
I would have rated this property a 5 if not for a bad experience not one but two times. It's a great property in town with lots of privacy. I had stayed here before earlier in 2014.. One of the reasons I rented thsi property (at a higher cost) was because of the hot tub and the ability to bring my dog. Unfortuaately, on my first stay the hot tub was ice cold when uncovered it that Friday night of my arrival. We called in to get it fixed but it did not heat up until many hours later. This put a huge damper on our party since the big reason we wanted to rent this place was for the hot tub and a party we were hosting Fri night. After complaining, we were offered a 10% discount for our next stay. I corresponded with management to make absolutely sure it did not happen again and the tub woud be hot. Guess what...we showed up, the tub was ice cold. They sent out a repairman....4 hours later still cold. We looked up the model of the hot tub online and figured out it was a simple programming issue. Needless to say...we could not use the hot tub till the next day, again ruining the reason for our get together Friday. Fortunately, we were afforded a late check out for free for our troubles. Would I stay here again..sure..now that I know how to program the hot tub. The house is clean, private, they allow dogs, the kitchen is nice, the beds are comfy. The management team was very accomodating as well....they just need to find a handyman who knows how to work the hot tub.
