This apartment is very comfortable and spacious. The unit is on the third floor and has elevator. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms. In the master bedrooms you'll find a Queen size bed with new mattress (very comfortable), Cable TV, New AC split unit, walking closet and full bathrooms. The second bedroom has a new Queen Size bed, new AC split unit, closet. The living room has one Full size sofa bed and another sofa, there is another 32' TV with cable in the living room.

Full kitchen with full size appliances, everything you need to cook a nice breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We also put a washer and dryer for your convenience.

The apartment has telephone for local calls only and DSL Internet.

There is one parking space in the basement. This building is on a very desirable location, everything is walking distance. There is a Walgreen Drugstore that opens 24/7 less than on block away. You can buy almost everything there. From milk and cookies to beer and wine, no to mentions sunblock.

This apartment, is a 2 bedrooms fully -equipped, offers a wonderful balance of hotel comfort and the warm of a family residence, with all that you may need. Feel just like home! Enjoy a great location in the popular Condado area of Puerto Rico's capital city.

Enjoy been in the heart of Condado, between La Concha Hotel and Marriott Hotel. It is centrally located within easy walking distance of tourist attractions, local amenities, only half a block from sandy beach, popular restaurants, resort, hotels, the best casinos, theaters, and fashionable stores. Also, it is only three miles from the historic district of Old San Juan and three miles from the biggest shopping center in the Caribbean “Plaza Las Americas”.

Closer to the apartment, for extraordinary meals, enjoy the finest in regional and international restaurants (French, Asian, Latin, and Italian cuisine). Nevertheless, you can find a lot of fast food restaurant like: Fuddruckers, Denny’s Restaurant, Starbucks Cafe, Pizzeria UNO Chicago Bar and Grill and many others. You could enjoy your favorite beverages and cocktails in the pubs, bars or in the lobby of the hotels near by.

This 1,100 sq feet apartment is clean and comfortable. The living room, dining room, and kitchen areas are spacious and free flowing. The dining table is for four people. The living room provides seating for at least eight people and has glass windows display beautiful outside views and which provides natural illumination. A separately AC split unit cools the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, stove and refrigerator. There is also a full-size washer and dryer.

Whether it is a cup of coffee in the morning or cocktails at sunset, you spend most of your time enjoying the location or having a great time at the beach at the end of the street. Taxis and public transportation are easily available. For stocking the kitchen during your stay, the supermarket and mini grocery are just 2 blocks from the apartment.

The apartment has easy access to major highways and is conveniently located across the street from restaurants and pubs; a major supermarket (SuperMax) is ten blocks away. “A tip” if you buy more than $50 dollars they’ll bring you back to your apartment for free; yes the supermarket has a “shopping car”, you must ask at the counter after your purchased your groceries. This unit is a half a block from the beach, ten blocks from the Puerto Rico Art Museum and walking distance from the Performing Arts Center and the Condado District’s casinos, dining and shopping. A short cab ride away is the historic Old San Juan, Plaza Las Americas Shopping Center and Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.

Best apartment in Condado, Great value, great location!!

Great apartment in the heart of Condado. Very confortable and big enough for 6 people.

We love the apartment and the location is perfect, we didn't need a car at all.

Victor our host was excellent and always available.

We'll definitely recommend this apartment and Victor 's services.

Definitely would book this condo again in the future.

If location is your priority, then this condo is exactly what you are looking for. Located in the absolute heart of Condado, everything is within walking distance. La Concha Hotel & Casino is next door, the beach is only steps away, Walgreens and numerous restaurants and shops are directly across the street. The indoor garage is perfect if you are renting a car because parking in San Juan is a complete headache. The manager is friendly, as well as the neighbors. Overall, I would definitely book again if planning on staying in Condado.

Convenient Location but ....

Positives:

Strong showers, plenty of hot water

Well-equipped kitchen (appliances)

Indoor parking for one car (it is a tight fit but is well protected and reserved for the apartment)

WiFi is strong

Air Conditioners function well and are quiet

Apartment is close to restaurants, bars, and convenience stores

Negatives:

Bedrooms do not have room-darkening curtains or shades so street lighting, including flashing neon

lights invade the rooms throughout the night.

No view of the ocean from this apartment

Bedroom #2 has cheap dresser with poorly-fitting drawers

Night stands are flimsy TV tables

A large heavy mirror (which apparently fell off the wall sometime earlier) is propped up on the dresser supported

by a dingy folded towel underneath

Ceiling light didn't work, only room light was a small lamp (ceiling light repaired on 2nd day)

Bedroom door had no latch and didn't close completely. Door was fitted with two dead bolts, no handles, no key provided for the dead bolts so - no way to close the door and no privacy

A non-working TV is "stored" on the dining room floor, one dining chair badly soiled, couch has an open seam

The small "balcony" was cluttered with junk, not possible to walk on it

Bathroom light is the main bathroom stopped functioning so the room was totally dark, was repaired on day 2 but continued to work only with multiple flips of the switch

Kitchen was poorly lit. It appeared that its fluorescent ceiling lights were not all working

Refrigerator leaks water from underneath, small puddles in front make the floor slippery, we mopped it daily

3 of the switches on the dining room wall don't turn on anything

There were 8 (eight) remote controls around the TV - we couldn't make any of them turn the TV on.

(There were no instructions for operating any of the apartment devices)

Street noise (vehicles + music) and construction noise (hammering + scraping) couldn't be blocked out and was nearly constant

I will be working on all your suggestions to improve the apartment and provide great value for this and all my other rentals in Condado. Today we are going to replace some of the old furniture in one of the bedrooms and have all the lights working so that the issue of the lights don't happen again. I really appreciate your input and will act on all the suggestions immediately. In regards to noise level there isn't much we can do about that, however I will try to have the windows change to be able to reduce the noise level. Location, location, location… at a decent price.

We were 4 adults staying in SJ for 2 weeks. This unit suited our needs, and there were no bad surprises, the unit is exactly as shown on-line. And compared to some other options, the price was good.

Positives: LOCATION! In the heart of Condado, right on Ashford ave., behind the Atlantic hotel, 1 minute walk to the beach, and within minutes to la Concha hotel and other good bars, restaurants, etc… Beds were comfortable enough (this being subjective for everyone), AC and wifi worked fine, well equipped kitchen, no issues with hot water. Very secure (main gate, card access elevator, locked stairwells). Victor was very accessible and quick to respond to our inquiries.

Negatives: Because this unit is right on Ashford, it's a bit noisy - beware very light sleepers. The unit, although clean, could use a fresh coat of paint all around and some fresher furniture. It's all a bit dated, and just missing a little TLC…

Overall, we enjoyed our holiday. No regrets at all here. 3.5*

"Hidden Gem in the Heart of Condado"

This is a very good option for a stay in Condado - great location, exceptional value. We were greeted on the first day by Victor who was friendly and helpful in showing us our apartment and providing tips on where to go in Condado. The apartment is well furnished with a small kitchen, clean and in an old character building in the heart of Condado steps away from the beach. Here, there are many options to get around: bus (will take you up to the Old San Juan and El Morro Fortress), taxis (will quickly take you up or down along the Condado, Old San Juan, Ocean Park or Isla Verde at multiple points or walk (a beautiful 25 minute stroll across the Ashford Avenue and we were in Old San Juan.

We felt safe and secure at this location, as there are multiple keyed entry points in order to get inside the room. Because these are apartments, towels and linens were not changed regularly but we encountered Victor after day 3 and he promptly arranged fresh towels for us upon request.

Ok where do I start??!!!

Victor Alonzo and his team are the BEST!!!!!

This was my first visit to San Juan and I must say as a frequient traveler my experience working with Victor has been the best of all. The Unit he provided for me due to some last minute adjustments was most accommodating!!!

Great View's of Ashford Ave and Very clean. I actually hosted a small party in the Unit and found all the necessary supplies needed. The spacious 2 Bedroom unit was in the perfect location and the walking distance to every thing was most appealing!!! I didn't even need to rent a car.

It's official, I will be keeping him on SPEED DIAL, to schedule future trips to visit San Juan

One of the most gratifying things about my work is when by doing what I'm supposed to be doing I make friends with my guests. You where so pleasant that you make my job so much easy and enjoyable. Some times I have to work wile everybody is having fun and enjoying their vacations and it can be very taxing at times; but when you meet people that leave a mark, an impression that you know is going to be permanent. For me that is what traveling is all about it, meeting different people, adjusting to the conditions, the circumstances and making the most out of it. Karma is a big factor in my life, I believe whatever you do good or bad one way or another it will come back to you. I feel bless to have the opportunity to help so many people and to be in a small or big way part of a moment of their life's, part of their memories. I love to travel and for me no matter where you go the best part of a trip is the people you interact with. Is the guy that sold me a fake watch in Chinatown in New York or the children running after the bus in the shore of the Titicaca lake in Peru. OLD SAN JUAN & BACARDI TOUR;

Travel back time and discover five hundred years of fascinating history, culture and heritage in the cobblestone streets of such a charming city. RAIN FOREST AND THE BEACH;

Two Fascinating Views. Combine the morning trip to El Yunque with an afternoon of swimming, sun tanning and relaxing on placid Luquillo Beach. The soft sands, shaded by imposing coconut palm trees and the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean make it a dreamer’s retreat. Lunch is not included, although we suggest you to sample the tasty local specialties such as seafood and Creole fritters from the kiosks at Luquillo Beach.

RAIN FOREST ECO TOUR;

Discover the exotic vegetation of El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Park System. It features over 240 species of plant and wildlife, waterfalls, streams and hiking trails leading to enticing locations. With a professional guide you will visit El Portal Visitor Center, La Coca Falls, Yokahú Tower, an observation point, which stands 1,500 feet above sea level, you can enjoy the unique mesmerizing view and a trail a trail to admire the flora & fauna.

NORTHSIDE VS. SOUTHSIDE

The beaches are obviously surrounding this lovely isle. So you can find a place to go almost any town that you will find yourself in. Therefore, you must ask yourself what kind of water are you looking for? On the Northside of the island you will have lots of strong waves. You can surf or body board until your hearts content. Crash boat or Hobo's beaches are excellent places to even watch the locals surf. On the south side of the island, the water is calm. The snorkeling is excellent and the water is clear.

RENT A BOAT!

When you go to La Parguera it is a must to rent a boat for the day. The rates run you $20-35 an hr. There are tons of mangrove keys in the bay to explore. The locals anchor their boats at the keys and party all day. The snorkeling is really enjoyable around the mangroves. Be careful driving your boat because there is a lot of wild life like sea turtles and many sand bars!

GILLIAN'S ISLAND;

Gillian's Island in Guanica area is a $7 treat! You ferry out to the mangrove key to spend your day playing in the sandbar, snorkeling, and drinking. Mary Lee's by the Sea is where you'll take the ferry. Once you spend the day on this tiny little island, take any ferry you want back to Mary Lee's. We saw baby baracoudas, tiger fish and sea urchins.

**Make sure you take a cooler with snacks and drinks, because there isn't any place to buy anything. Also, it gets really filled up. We choose to skip the main beach and find a little secluded mangrove area for ourselves.**

BOSQUE SECO HIKE;

One the south side of the island, it gets dry! So dry in fact that cacti are growing like weeds! How unusual that this small island can have such a diverse terrain?! Apparently, it has to do with how the mountains are high enough that they don't allow the rain to pass over to the other side of the mountain. Again, I have to push for my recommendation of the road trip or day trips to see the different terrain! Btw, Bosque Seco means Dry Forest.

I'd recommend taking Route 333 to the dead end. Then hike the Meseta Trail. The trail runs along the coast. The Cliffs are completely awe inspiring. And don't for get our water, you'll need it!

THE OBSERVATORY

The Observatory in Arecibo should be one of the wonders of the world. The size is unbelievable! It costs $10 per person. They have a 2 story museum and the radio telescope outside viewing platform. There are Spanish and English presentations about the telescope. My favorite fact is about the kind of shoes they must wear to clean up the reflector. To stand on the reflector you can't weigh more than 150lbs!

By the way, this is the exact location from the James Bond Movie Golden Eye. Pretty Cool!

There is no cell phone usage allowed, it doesn't matter, there isn't service anyway. And the trek up to the observatory is a workout, I don't recommend flip flops!

CAVING;

The Caves of Camuy are the 3rd largest in the world. $15 per person. There is a tour guide, but they provide an audio tour (English & Spanish). The audio tour is excellent! It is educational and has great music. I'm big on caves, so I'd totally recommend coming here. Get there early, if you plan to come after 11am, then you might as well not.
