Awesome Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this wonderful home for Spring break (April 9-13, 2017) with another family (total of 4 adults and 4 children ages 9-17). The home easily accommodated all of us, providing both shared spaces to get together as well as our own space when needed. It is exactly as described - the view is absolutely breathtaking and serene! The outdoor space wraps around the entire property with a large deck and sunken fire-pit which we utilized every night of our stay. The home is nicely tucked away providing privacy and only a short drive to stores, restaurants and outdoor activities. It is an older home, but well-kept and maintained with a great history and charming quirks. Denise, the owner, was very welcoming and responsive to all questions and concerns. The only thing you should be aware of is that the home is located on a bluff and you will need to supervise very young children when outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again in the future.

Beautiful Rustic Home

  • 5 of 5

This home was a hit! Our high school reunion committee needed two places to rent for our meeting, so we rented a home on Bowie Drive along with this home on Nokomis. This home was perfect! The whole house was clean and comfortable. It has the most amazing views of Morro Bay, Morro Rock, and the ocean, which can be heard from the property. It's peaceful and quiet. There are so many interesting items and memorabilia throughout the home. The deck and fire pit, the studio apartment with the huge picture window, the sun room, and sweet little kitchen made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely stay here again as soon as possible.

A Family Gathering in Los Osos

  • 5 of 5

The Nokomis Ct. house was perfect for a gathering of us, our 'kids' and their spouses for a few days in Morro Bay. The weather was perfect the first two days, then we had rain for two days but enjoyed the warm, cozy, mid-century house with wood paneling and the large stone fireplace. The view of the sandspit, bay and 'the rock' are beautiful to wake up to and mesmerizing to watch as the day progresses. We will do this again...:-)

Amazing VIEW!!!

  • 5 of 5

What a fun, funky older house! We had 6 adults and 3 kids and we all fit in perfectly. This home is a mid-century retro. There are family memorabilia and pictures all around. Plenty of space and a big TV in every bedroom for those who wanted to watch movies or sports. The side cottage was somewhat tiny but afforded a nice place where we could get away from the kids. We spent hours just sitting in the sun porch looking at the magnificent views. We watched amazing sunsets every night. The home could do with a kitchen makeover, as it's quite old. But everything worked just fine. There were plenty of pots and pans, spices and condiments, etc. for our use. Bathrooms were spacious in the main house. The cottage bath is pretty tiny. We used the fire pit every night except one foggy drippy evening. We did have to request firewood from the manager's helper, but it was delivered promptly. Montana de Oro is right up the road and has wonderful hiking trails on the ocean. It's a short drive to Morro Bay for great restaurants and shopping. We also visited Hearst Castle, downtown SLO, and the wine country of Edna Valley - all easy drives for day trips. We would stay here again if in the area, and recommend it highly!

We had an absolute blast staying in this home! Our kids loved the close proximity to the many beaches to wonder and look for shells. The views from the deck are amazing and when paired with a nice fire in the fire pit the atmosphere really can't be beat. We will definitely be returning to this home! Denise couldn't have been easier to deal with and the house was very clean.

Fantastic home with a view unparalleled by others! Fully equipped, clean and well maintained .

I'm sitting here writing this review wishing, hoping, planning for the next visit. We went in June for graduation from Cal Poly, and we still talk about it.

Your host, Denise is wonderful. Helpful, available, and knowledgeable about the area. We didn't need anything. The house has it all. It's not modern, or fussy. It's welcoming and comfortable. Clean and well appointed. I would recommend this house in a heart beat.

If you are renting this for graduation and you intend to invite large groups of people to party, look elsewhere. This is for families to come together and celebrate, but not with crowds or loudness.

We are trying to figure out what we can go back and celebrate next! Like I said, we are all still talking about it and it's 5 months later!
