Spacious bedroom & bath with a private deck and outdoor area on which to relax.
Why Scott Graves chose Marigny
Located in the French-Quarter-adjacent Marigny Triangle with only a 3 short block walk to the Frenchman Street music clubs. A streetcar stop is one block, if you want to venture out of the neighborhood in New Orleans style. Spend a weekend in one of America's most historic cities enjoying one of the town’s many historic residences.

Perfect place within walking distance to French Quarter
Scott is a perfect host and the property is great. We loved going to the bars right by the apartment and it was a short walk to all the fun happening in the French Quarter. I highly recommend this place and it is most likely where we'll stay when we come back.
Overall great place. Location was perfect as it was close to the action!
Thank you for your review. I feel very lucky to live in such a great location.
Unbeatable Value, Comfort, and Convenience!
Could not have picked a better spot for our stay in NOLA for Jazzfest. Scott was very helpful in pointing out local conveniences. Grocery, drug store, Starbucks, liquor, and a bar all within a one minute walk. Short walk to Frenchman & Bourbon, as well as bus and street car. Room very clean & comfortable, with basic essentials to get us started - coffee, creamer, toiletries, etc. Even with Mag’s bar within close proximity, no noise at night! A very enjoyable stay, would definitely book this room again. One suggestion for Scott as a “perk” for guests - maybe a couple of bicycles and locks???
Thank you, Vicki, for your review. It's always great to know you had a good time, enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces the Marigny Suite affords as well as the conveniences around the location. While I don't offer bicycles as a perk, for bicycle enthusiasts there are several bicycle rental places close by.
Convenient location, priced right, a bit run-down, noisy at night
Being on the eastern edge of the French Quarter during the Festival (FQF) was great! Walking distance to all stages, bars, and restaurants! Groceries and a Walgreens less than a block away. Trolley, buses, etc also very close. Very private - inside and outside.
Located across the street from a busy bar (Mags) made the wee hours a bit noisy, but we expected that during the festival. Street noise in general (sirens, traffic, garbage trucks, etc.) was still pretty high regardless.
We were drawn in by the price, but even so, everything seemed pretty run-down and in a run-down neighborhood. The patio/garden area was in serious need of attention and is not represented very well in the pictures. Little details inside also showed signs of neglect. Example: recessed lights in bathroom didn't have the diffuser put back after light bulb changes, so you're looking at bare bulbs. An abandoned towel rack still had one side of the rod holder in place. New rack installed right above it. Many things like this throughout.
Given the price, we were fine staying there. In hindsight, we may have been willing to pay a little more to get a more romantic experience. If you just need a room to go back to after experiencing a fantastic city, this is your place. Set your expectations accordingly and you'll have a grand time!
Thank you for your review, Barry and Jean. Glad to know you enjoyed the great location with the plethora of amenities nearby. Regarding your critiques, you are right (with the exception of light “diffusers” which don’t exist in this case; the wrong light bulbs had simply been installed and are now replaced). We’ve experienced a cold then warm, then cold then warm spring; bulbs planted have not yet filled in…you’re again right, the flower bed is definitely not at its finest appearance right now. I always hope guests feel they have received a good value for their money and, as you mentioned, I think the suite is correctly priced; I will be doing maintenance and upgrades this summer and the rate will be adjusted accordingly. Our neighborhood may look a bit tawdry to out-of-towners but it's also part of the charm. Back in the 1990’s, Marigny was, indeed, an abject ghetto; that’s true but now it is one of the most sought-after and some of the most expensive real estate in the city! Historic District restrictions prevent changes and “upgrades” to buildings so those who wish a modern environment would be better located in the CBD (Central Business District) hotels. Thank you for staying at Aaron Ingram Haus; I hope you’ll come back again soon.
GREAT STAY AS ALWAYS
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PROPERTIES IN NOLA. GREAT LOCATION, ACCESS TO SO MUCH WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, AND MYRIAD PROPERTY AMMENITIES. WE WILL BE BACK!
Thank you, Joseph, for your review. Really appreciate your kind words. I look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to the Big Easy. Scott
We had a great time in New Orleans and Scott was a wonderful host. The room was large and the bed comfy. But the location was ideal; a block from Frenchmen Street and a 15 minute walk to either the center of the French Quarter or Cafe Du Monde. I would stay there again!
Thank you, Tom, for your review. It's always gratifying to know a guest has enjoyed both the accommodations and the terrific location. Come back again soon. Scott
