Upon your arrival, the Palm Tree lined Boulevard will lead you to your private 2700 square foot beach house! Soon, the sounds, smells, and breezes of the ocean will beckon you to take a one block stroll to one of 2 beach accesses which lead you down the sandy path, over the dunes and ... ahhhh ... THE ATLANTIC OCEAN and award winning beaches welcome you! It is 241 of my steps from the front door to the beach!!

After a day or walk on the beach you're just another short stroll back to your house, where a refreshing outside shower and shaded, fenced backyard awaits. Then its relaxing with family and friends!

And your family dog is welcome to join the fun! Dogs love our refreshing outside shower and the nicely shaded fenced backyard after a romp on the beach! Please let the owner know at the time of inquiry if you would like to bring your family dog(s) and the breed (s). Thank you!

But there is more! If boating, fishing or water excursions are your forte, the Isle of Palms Marina is 1 mile away and full of possibilities! Including a boat ramp.

Golf, tennis, a day at the spa? Wild Dunes Resort is just 1 mile away!

Restless kids? The Isle of Palms Recreation Department is just one block with many activities, dogs included!

Hungry? You don’t even have to leave the island for fresh local seafood! We can personally recommend at least 5 of our favorites that are about 4 minutes from your front door, or 6 minutes away into Mt. Pleasant.

Movies or shopping? Mt. Pleasant Town Centre is about 6 minutes away or downtown Charleston is about 20. Movie & dinner? Cinnebarre at Mt. Pleasant is about 15 minutes away.

Live music? Locally at the Windjammer, Acme Cantina, Banana Cabana (see map) or Morgan Creek Grille at the Isle of Palms Marina.

At the end of your day?

Private masters suite upstairs with king bed, 2 person jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink, large walk in closet, sun room and sun deck.

Downstairs has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds (kids room or young at heart), den with pull out sofa, 2 full baths, 3 den areas. Your spacious dining area opens to the kitchen, den and backyard.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy beautiful Isle of Palms

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lori and Ray's beautiful home. This vacation was a time for our family to come from all over the country to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. It turned out to the be the perfect location for several reasons but one that stands out above the rest is the backyard. Our vacation week was in July so the temps were in the high 90's but you wouldn't have known that in the wonderfully shaded back yard. We thought my elderly parents would have to stay indoors for a large portion of this vacation but that was not the case. They were able to sit on the back patio in the shade and enjoy being a part of all the activities. The back yard is a great place for corn hole or other games, which happened all week for us. Thank you Lori and Ray for creating a lovely home that now will be our memory of Papa's 80th birthday!

I would recommend getting the umbrella and beach chairs from Isle of Palm Beach Chair Company. it was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and have those already set up for us. It was worth the cost for sure and the umbrellas were great for our little grandchildren.

Great house for a family beach trip

Perfect house for all ages. One of only a couple houses available at this price point that allows pets and HAS A FENCED backyard from Isle of Palms to Hilton Head. Very easy access to the beach . Have stayed there 3 times

Nicely kept home

We enjoyed this house. The owner was on-site and gave one of our party an orientation.

The open floor plan allowed all of us to enjoy each others company. It was well maintained. The mattress in the lower master bedroom was too firm for my tastes but I cannot ding this area. The bathrooms were on the small side but functional. There was a large, fenced back yard so anyone with kids would feel comfortable allowing them to play there. The biggest annoyance was of the two remotes for the TV/Cable, the volume didnt work for either one of them so I had to get up (the old fashioned way) and lower the volume using the buttons.

The house holds up to 12. This is a great place for two or three families to share some time together.

Perfect house for our family

Lori and Ray's house worked perfectly for our extended family of 11. Our four 9-11-yr-old grandkids loved having the room with the 4 twin beds all to themselves, and one of the downstairs master BRs was large enough for the 4-yr-old to sleep on an air mattress. With three living spaces, a large upstairs sunroom, and a table big enough for all of us to eat together, everyone was quite comfortable. Additionally, the wonderful fenced in back yard, and Lori's acceptance of pets made it possible to bring our two dogs with us. It's a bit of a walk to the beach with 5 little kids, but it's proximity to the IOP City Park was a real bonus for us.

We would definitely stay here again.

Ocean Breezes Fans for Life!

We loved our time at this beautiful beach house in Isle of Palms. The house is even better than the pictures showed. The owner, Lori, was very accommodating. The master bedroom itself is like a romantic retreat, and it was perfect as a bridal suite, as we prepared for our daughters wedding at Wild Dunes. We hope to have the opportunity to return next year.

4 years....and counting

My husband and I first rented this house 4 years ago after retiring ....we are "long-term" renters (Jan.-March) and love the casual atmosphere that this house gives.We take daily walks to the beach where our dog loves to run..bike rides to the marina...dinner on Sullivans Island and the IOP....and of course our trips to Downtown Charleston...never get old. When our family members visit there is plenty of room for everyone.....we stay in the suite upstairs so they can have the downstairs to themselves.Our granddaughters call it the "beach house"and is a second home to them.We are anxious for grandchild #3..due in Oct. to come for their first visit to the beach! Lori and Ray have been so easy to "rent" from...we consider them friends.We are looking forward to next year!!! Enjoy all that the IOP has to offer.... you won't be disappointed.
