Upon your arrival, the Palm Tree lined Boulevard will lead you to your private 2700 square foot beach house! Soon, the sounds, smells, and breezes of the ocean will beckon you to take a one block stroll to one of 2 beach accesses which lead you down the sandy path, over the dunes and ... ahhhh ... THE ATLANTIC OCEAN and award winning beaches welcome you! It is 241 of my steps from the front door to the beach!!

After a day or walk on the beach you're just another short stroll back to your house, where a refreshing outside shower and shaded, fenced backyard awaits. Then its relaxing with family and friends!

And your family dog is welcome to join the fun! Dogs love our refreshing outside shower and the nicely shaded fenced backyard after a romp on the beach! Please let the owner know at the time of inquiry if you would like to bring your family dog(s) and the breed (s). Thank you!

But there is more! If boating, fishing or water excursions are your forte, the Isle of Palms Marina is 1 mile away and full of possibilities! Including a boat ramp.

Golf, tennis, a day at the spa? Wild Dunes Resort is just 1 mile away!

Restless kids? The Isle of Palms Recreation Department is just one block with many activities, dogs included!

Hungry? You don’t even have to leave the island for fresh local seafood! We can personally recommend at least 5 of our favorites that are about 4 minutes from your front door, or 6 minutes away into Mt. Pleasant.

Movies or shopping? Mt. Pleasant Town Centre is about 6 minutes away or downtown Charleston is about 20. Movie & dinner? Cinnebarre at Mt. Pleasant is about 15 minutes away.

Live music? Locally at the Windjammer, Rusty Rudder, Banana Cabana (see map) or Morgan Creek Grille at the Isle of Palms Marina.

At the end of your day?

Private masters suite upstairs with king bed, 2 person jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, double vanity sink, large walk in closet, sun room and sun deck.

Downstairs has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds (kids room or young at heart), den with pull out sofa, 2 full baths, 3 den areas. Your spacious dining area opens to the kitchen, den and backyard.

Because this is our family home, rentals are only available to families or adult groups. No house parties or renters under the age of 21. Thank You.

Perfect for our family of 12 and 2 dogs

This house works very well for our family of 6 adults and 6 kids ages 5-12. Having the fenced in back yard also makes it possible to take our dogs with us and leave them outside after a good walk on the beach. The proximity to the Isle of Palms playground (1/2 block) is a huge plus for us, as we go over every afternoon or evening where we play soccer, pickleball, tennis, baseball, basketball, and enjoy playground fun.

The house has been remodeled so all of the downstairs bedrooms are quite roomy. We were able to add 2 blowup mattresses on the floor of the room with 4 twin beds, and it worked quite well for our 6 kids.

Clean, well-appointed and plenty of room to enjoy alone time. The back yard was perfect for our dog. The yard was much larger than we expected. The owner was also very responsive and super nice!

It was the perfect fit for our family vacation of 6 adults, a toddler, and a dog!

This home was ideal for my family's long weekend get away. First, the location: IOP is our favorite SC beach. The house is on a quiet street and an easy walk to the beach and a neighborhood playground/park (a dog park, too, but we didn't use it). The house itself was very comfortable and roomy. The upstairs master suite is more space than anyone would ever need, and very quiet. The downstairs has 3 perfect bedrooms, accommodating both adults and children. There are three "living spaces" and a kitchen that opens into the main living area. A sliding door from the kitchen to the big, nicely landscaped yard made for easy access to the backyard and the outdoor shower, which was the first stop after a time on the beach. We weren't there long enough for backyard relaxing, but out dog loved running in the open space. My only wish was for an area rug in the main living room. Despite the outdoor shower, there seemed to always be slippery sand on the floors. This was minor. If we return to IOP I will try to rent this home again. Lori, the owner, was a delight to work with.
