Everything You've Ever Wanted for the Perfect Mountain Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This charming, cozy cabin has everything you'll ever need for a fabulous mountain vacation. Centrally located in Valle Crucis, our family spent a wonderful week exploring the area. The kitchen and entire facility have luxurious appointments. You'll wish you had a kitchen like this at home. With two teenagers, we stayed on the go, exploring the area. Some of our side trips included: Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls & Gorge, Roan Mountain (one of the best hiking adventures we've ever done), and numerous waterfall expeditions. We made it a point to get ice cream, often, at the Mast General Store, just down the road from the cabin. We enjoyed shopping at the Tanger Outlet in nearby Blowing Rock and the stores near Appalachian University in Boone. Love bbq? Don't miss Woodlands in Blowing Rock. Breakfast finds? Grandview at Grandfather Mt. and Sunrise Grill on 105. Despite all the above recommendations, we spent a lot of time grilling at the cabin. We'd return from our day adventures to the gurgling of the stream, glimpses of white-tailed deer, and sighing of the mountain breezes through the treetops. Love this place. Thanks to the owners and manager for the perfect family getaway.

Warm and cozy mountain get away!

  • 5 of 5

After our second stay at this wonderful cabin, I decided that I should finally share my thoughts with all of the vrbo renters out there! From the moment you unlock the door, the smell of the beautiful pine woodwork draws you in. Inside, it is warm and cozy with its beautiful slate floors, red cabinets and granite counter tops in this well equipped, high end kitchen. The family room is inviting and comfortable. We love cozying-up by the fire and watching movies, drinking wine and enjoying stress

free time together. The bedrooms are very comfortable, especially with the windows open, so that the babbling brook can lull you to sleep. We love the location! It is so convenient to many attractions

such as the Mast General store, App State Campus and the adorable town of Blowing Rock, just to

name a few. The owners of this property, very obviously, take pride in this cabin, by its meticulous

appearance inside and out. Give yourself the gift of a stay at this wonderful cabin!

Precious and Cozy - The Perfect Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I stayed at Precious in the fall of 2013 and we had a wonderful time. The cabin matches its name - it is absolutely precious! The weather was cool and rainy and we were able to use the little gas fire place, which was an absolute delight. The cabin was warm and comfortable, the furnishings perfect - everything about it is cozy. We visited Boone and went to Grandfather Mountain. The weather cleared up for our trip to Grandfather Mountain - which was breathtaking and of course we took lots of photos. I would return to Precious any time - it was delightful, charming and a little precious dream vacation come true.

Great cabin near Appalachian State

  • 5 of 5

My son is in his second year at Appalachian State and this is our favorite place to stay in Boone. Only 10 minutes to campus and then when we get to the cabin it is so peaceful and we love to listen to the creek. It is always immaculate and in perfect order. This is the cutest is really old and quaint yet newly renovated. I wish it were mine!

Beautiful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Precious during the last week of December. Words can't express how wonderful of a time we had there. The cabin is beautiful. The location is wonderful. It was so relaxing to be sitting in the living room and hear the water from the creek nearby. Not to mention the beautiful pictures my husband took of it. The cabin has everything that you need. A home away from home. Since we are from Florida, we were happy with the easy access into the cabin, especially when it was snowing. The cabin is centrally located, close enough to downtown Boone but even closer to the ski slopes. It was very quiet and peaceful. We were even lucky enough to have a deer visit our porch one morning. Doesn't get any better than that. We will definitely be staying at Precious again!!!

Beautiful first time experience!

  • 5 of 5

We spent New Year's in this beautiful cabin and enjoyed every minute. This was my family's first time venturing to the mountains and Precious made the experience unforgettable. The property is completely renovated and decorated beautifully. It had everything we could possibly need...even a crib for my 7-month old. The cabin is very cozy. It is on the smaller side but very comfortable and roomy at the same time. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our stay at Precious felt like home.

The location is great with easy in and out access to everything (Restaurants, Supermarket, etc). Sugar, Beech and Grandfather are all near by.

We were lucky to get this property. We would definitely consider going back in the future.
