This home is one of the few properties in the area that has a Wednesday to Wednesday week. What better schedule for the parents of the bride by being able to arrive two or three days before the big event and stay 3 days after to rest and recuperate. OR if your group would like to experience a full week-end in beautiful St. Joseph from Friday night concert at the band shell to Saturday farmers market on the bluff, and on Sunday watch the sunset while attending the free Sunday concert, this is the home for you.

This Beautiful 4 BR/3.5 BA St. Joseph River home just 1 mile from Silver Beach. Located on a gated island, this beautiful home has panoramic views of the river and channel.

This home is perfect for those large families or groups who are looking for a budget-friendly yet perfect vacation rental.

This home offers the conveniences of open kitchen-dining-living area, 2 large decks that offer panoramic views of the St. Joseph River, open grass areas and walkways throughout the gated community on the river, private dock for fishing, and the community pool right next door.

Location: Just 90 minutes from Downtown Chicago, this fully furnished home will let you relax in a fun-filled small town that will entertain you with activities for the whole family. The house is 1 mile from downtown and 3 county beaches.

Keyless entry provides you with your unique entry code during your stay so no one has to share keys.

Basics include: Hotel-style linen and towel service, WIFI access, cable TV, gas grill, microwave, dishwasher, hair dryers, central air conditioning, and 2 in the garage and 2 off street parking spots.

Bedrooms and bathrooms: Upstairs the master bedroom has queen sized bed. The master bathroom has a luxurious tub and a separate walk-in shower. The two other upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom and have queen beds. There also is a large loft area that opens to the upper level deck. It is great place to relax and watch TV. In the loft area are futons and a sleeper sofa that makes a great area for kids to hang out. Off the foyer and next to the first floor bedroom is the 3rd full bathroom.

Kitchen: Here you will find an up-to-date kitchen which is fully furnished with all the cookware and dishes needed to prepare a picnic or a gourmet meal.

Dining: There is a large dining adjacent to the kitchen and living room with a table that sits 8 comfortably.

Living room: This area features a stone fireplace and TV in addition to the relaxing view of the river. Two sliding doors give access to the lower deck.

Unique to this house is that you have access to a pool and in a short drive the best beaches in SWMI. The open floor plan and 2 large decks allow for lots a space to enjoy your vacation.

Maximum number of guests is 10 unless arrangements are made at the time of booking. Exceeding the maximum will result in the forfeit of monies paid and termination of occupancy. Be Our Guest homes are not to be used for any parties or special events.

Pets: Dogs are allowed at owner's discretion. A non refundable pet fee will be assessed

Nice location, poor maintenance

I like the location of this property in the gated community of Island Pointe, and this particular house is right beside the pool and also has a nice grassy area behind. I am disappointed , however, in the maintenance and appointments. The range fan doesn't work, so the smoke alarm goes off every time you use the oven. The microwave only works some of the time. There are blinds that don't work, sliding glass doors that are difficult to open, a bathtub that constantly drains, flat tires on the bicycles, and the carpeting is badly stained. There wasn't enough detergent to do the laundry and the was no tin foil to use on the grill. And that reminds me the igniter on the grill doesn't work either. Many of this issues are identical to last year when we stayed at this same property. They were simply never fixed, so that says a lot about the lack of concern over these types of issues. It's most unfortunate, because, as I said I like the location.
