Great location, quick responsive management, large, comfortable home

  • 4 of 5

The location of the home worked great for our family. We were interested in biking out the door, walking into town and having a large enough living/dining space to hang out in. This home was perfect for that. Being close to Clark's Market turned out to be a benefit as we were mostly cooking with family and small children and could run over and purchase whatever we needed---and the market has been renovated and is very nice. The house was spacious and the large front entry was wonderful for shoes and stuff. I would suggest a BBQ for the home in the summer months. We used the tiny portable one on the back deck but it was to small and not efficient to cook with.

We did run into a water problem (broken valve that prevented water from heating and leak in the irrigation system) and I want to really commend the management for jumping right on it and working hard to get it fixed during weekend and evening hours. While it did cause us inconvenience, Leslie did everything possible to get it fixed and was wonderful about it.

I hope everyone enjoys the house as much as we did. Thank you.

Nice, but...

  • 3 of 5

The house was perfectly acceptable and clean, with the exception that the hot tub circulator pump blew before we even arrived. They couldn't replace it during our stay. The management company responded quickly and gave us a partial refund.

A big reason we chose the place was the hot tub in the first place, so that was kind of a bummer.

Beautiful Home in Telluride

  • 5 of 5

I am the organizer of a group of friends that goes on an annual ski trip. So every year the pressure to pick a place for the six of us to stay is on my shoulders. This year we all decided to go to Telluride and I picked this place. We had 4 people arrive in the early afternoon and 2 (including me) arrive later. I knew it was a good place because when I landed I had text messages from my buddies that were all positive and one sent a video of the view!

There was plenty of space in the bedrooms and the living space. The kitchen had everything we needed as we made dinner for 2 of the 6 nights we were there. The other 4 nights we went out to dinner and ate very well. Highly recommend 221 Oak (but it is expensive). Siam was good but don't order a dish for each person. We were 6 guys and ordered 6 dishes which was at least 1 or 2 dishes too many.

The house is in great shape and is a short walk to Lift 7. It's also incredibly close to the supermarket and liquor store. We didn't even bother renting a SUV (which we have done at every other ski resort we have visited) as we were within walking distance to everything. We got a great deal from Ski Trip Advisors that included lift tickets and the airport shuttle via Telluride Express.

Also, Leslie was great to work with and super helpful!

If we come back to Telluride we will definitely rent this home again!

Great place in Telluride

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with our children and our friends and their children over the holidays. What a great home! Highlights: attractive and very comfortable, 2 king master bedrooms, big comfortable great room, bunk room for the kids, convenient to everything. We would walk to the Galloping Goose shuttle because of the kids and the ski stuff and easy ride to get on the Gondola. Really helpful to be next to the grocery store.

Wonderful place to stay!

  • 4 of 5

There were four couples staying at the house for a friend's wedding in Telluride. It worked perfectly for us! House is beautiful and we'll maintained. Great neighborhood and prime location in town. The two rooms with twin beds/bunk bed situation was a little weird, but I knew that when I rented it. We had an issue with only barely warm water at didn't want to just fiddle with the hot water tank ourselves, so we called Leslie and she had maintenance out the very same day and fixed the problem. Wish the hot tub was working year round as it would have been fun to use, especially since the nights were pretty cold. Would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend this place!

Perfection

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Leslie's home entire I'd probably about three times. How much is at the end of town and the festival park is at the other but it still only takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk from end to end. It's right next to a grocery store which is super handy and is been recently renovated. Her home is up-to-date and has plenty of room for larger groups of people and more importantly lots of bathrooms. We stayed at several places in Telluride and her home is one of the best! It is now or "go to" home.
