We are located in historic Haleiwa town just around the corner from Haleiwa Boat Harbor, Haleiwa Joe's restaurant, Matsumoto Shave Ice, and Jameson's Restaurant, famous for drinks and dinner at sunset. Wonderful time on the North Shore

We had a great time visiting Oahu and having our condo on the beach could not have made it any better! The accomodations were perfectly suitable for our family. The owner gave us plenty of information ahead of time which was very useful to find places to shop and visit.

Perfect Oahu location, great value, wonderful owner

This apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. Lucille is a great owner and did a fine job communicating all the details we needed to know about parking, access, etc. The grounds are manicured, and the beachfront just steps away is amazing. We were going to spend more time sightseeing while there, but couldn't pull away from simply relaxing and playing at what was almost our own private beach. If you get too warm sitting on the sand, there's a lawn area with huge shade trees just above the sand, and it's cool and relaxing there.

We did many meals at the condo and at the charcoal barbecue by the beach. Everything we needed to prepare meals was there, just bring your food and you're good to go.

Tip: the guest bedroom on the street side has very firm twin beds, less air flow, and some street noise, while the queen bedroom has a great bed, is very quiet and comfy with its own lanai, and has a bit of an ocean view. So if you're two couples sharing the condo, you may want to consider (even financially) ahead of time who will get the 'better' accommodations and cost-share accordingly.

All in all, excellent value, and we'll probably be back for more great vacations. Thank you Lucille for everything!

Great value for the price!

We have stayed at the Surf many times over the years and this is the first time for Lucille's rental unit. It was great.. Enough room for the grandkids, spacious, beds comfortable, additional bedding available, kitchen well equipped! Lucille ask early on if any special needs to help with our arrival and stay. The Lani has several tables and chairs for a wonderful dining with a view of the ocean and the incoming breeze. Thanks Lucille for your hospitality.

Holiday Vacation

This was our first visit to Oahu and we were very excited about staying in the North Shore area. My husband and 18 yr old twin sons had a great stay in Haleiwa and at the condo. Lucille provided a detailed list of restaurants, recreation activities and shopping which was very useful and appreciated. We tried many of them! The condo was spacious and beds were comfortable. There were refreshments and snacks for us upon arrival which was very thoughtful. The beach was easily accessible and beautiful. It was not crowded and private. The condo is perfectly positioned to reach recreational activities on the island. Definitely recommend!

Home away from home

We have stayed here twice, wish we could come every year. Lucille is a wonderful owner, very conscientious and has made her property a second home for anyone lucky enough to vacation here. We were 2 older adult women traveling with our 2 adult sons, and this was the absolute perfect housing for us. Haleiwa is wonderful, Lili'uokaloni Church is a must attend on Sunday, the market at the church is perfect for gifts to take home! The double lanais make fabulous breakfast, reading spots, and I love, love, love this location. safe beautiful beach out front, barbeque with sunset each night, something for all ages. Thank you!! I hope to be back soon.

Great Location

My wife, grown daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beachfront condo. The location is excellent, the unit is well stocked with cooking utensils, the beds are comfortable and the neighbors are friendly and welcoming. The two bedroom unit allows for more privacy for family members or guests and each bedroom, plus there is an extra bed in the living room for overflow guests. The beach in front of the unit is good for swimming and there is an excellent beach for watching turtles a short walk to the northeast, at the Hale'iwa Ali'i Beach. Also there are plenty of surfers nearby along the 7-mile miracle, including the Waimea Beach, the Bonzai Pipeline and towards the southwest at the beautiful Mokuleia Bay Beach. Plus the condo is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The biggest positive however is that the owner is very responsive to requests for information and is sincerely interested in making sure renters have a pleasant trouble free visit. We hope to return for a longer period of time next time, two weeks was not long enough this trip. The beds were quite comfortable and the showers, both of them, worked fine. No complaints!
