K4Kythnos villas are located on the picturesque island of Kythnos Just two hours from the port of Lavrio near Eleftherios Venizelos Airport of Athens.
Enjoy one of our two maisonettes either as a couple or with friends and family.
These elegant maisonettes are just a 2 minute walk from Megali Ammos beach and in walking distance from Kanala Village (5 minutes), the most beautiful seaside village of the island. In Kanala you can find Greek Tavernas,a bar and a supermarket.Bus and Taxi stations are also conveniently close.Particularly striking is the Church of Panagia Kanala in the square of the village.
The houses are built in such a way that eventhough they are 'beneath' one another following the topography of the land, the guests enjoy privacy and quiet.
The common areas in each house on the inside as well as the outside are really comfortable which give the option for a larger group to enjoy the houses, spend all day together and separate only for sleeping.
Details for S4Sun1 which sleeps 8 people are as follows:
In the ground floor one can find a large living area with a kitchen and a dining room,a guest bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (both double) sharing a bathroom. 6 guests sleep in bedrooms and two more in the sofas on the ground floor.
The terraces and garden have uninterrupted sea views. In the garden there is a barbecue and a traditional burning oven.
Hi!My name is Natasha Bouriti.I'm a mother of two little monsters 7and 5 years old currently, a role that makes me very happy and proud.I'm an architect,a profession which I really love and especially the design process and the decorationg process. My husband is a civil engineer and a sculptor and I would say that together we make a really good team.
I have grown up in Athens, went to school in Saint Joseph Greek French School in Athens, studied in architecture in England in the University of Greenwich and during all my life every summer I would spend at least one month in Kythnos (three as a child!)
Natasha Bouriti purchased this villa in 2012
Beacuase I believe they are really beautiful!I have put a lot of care and love into making these houses fell like homes and I believe that the result is really charming!Once there, I'm sure one will feel calm and relaxed, something we are all looking for when on holidays!
Leaving the houses, the village, the beach and the whole island really is ideal for familly fun and for memories that will last for a long time!
The houses are newly built and were originally built to be sold which means that everything from the design process until the last detail in the decoration is thought through really well and executed with the best materials and the knowledge and experience of a professional team.
The spot in which the houses are built is really unique, as one can enjoy village life and great swimming altogether without the need of a car.So if one wants to be a 'local' for at least some days before setting off to discover the rest of the island, one is in the perfect place.
On the other hand my knowledge of the island becomes from experience and not from a lonely planet book which will help you discover the island in a different way.
Beautiful and picturesque, Kythnos island, is located just two hours from the port of Lavrio (one of the three ports of Athens) which is very near El. Venizelos airport and three hours from the port of Piraeus. It is the first island on the complex of West Cyclades between Kea and Serifos. The island is 99 square kilometers and has approximately 1500 inhabitants.
Crystal clear water in more than 90 bays, small traditional villages built following the traditional architecture, stone built small roads, houses with the characteristic blinding white colour of the Cyclades, churches and windmills create a perfect Cycladic scenery and leave the visitor spellbound.
Mass tourism hasn't reached this gem, which still keeps the traditional way of living and its unique character.
Its untouched beauty, its calm and relaxed atmosphere and its very small distance from Athens, place Kythnos undoubtedly among one of the most picturesque Cycladic islands and makes it a top vacation destination.
Having spent all my childhood summer vacations in Kythnos, the memories of the unspoilt crystal clear bays and the countless hours of playing with the sand in one of the many beaches of the island I would say are the ones that prevail. Now as a mother traveling with my family very often to the island I feel that the same atmosphere will help my children form similar memories which especially nowadays are very difficult to form as one can rarely experience these kind of relaxed vacations.
