About Kristin Nierengarten
This cabin was originally built as our family vacation home where we enjoyed endless summers on the lake, four wheeling, golfing and fishing. During the fall we spent time hiking through the woods and hunting. Winters were breathtaking, serene snowfalls, snowshoeing, holiday gatherings and peaceful time away from our busy lives. We now want to share these great experiences with other families, so they too can make memories and take time to enjoy each other.

Amazing in every way!
This place is beyond beautiful! The owners so easy to work with. Immediate responses to questions. Information all inclusive.
Staying here was a little slice of heaven- can't wait to return!
This home is beyond beautiful, clean and even though we never met the owners, we felt so welcomed in their home. We were welcomed by two gift baskets of goodies for everyone in the family, Fresh flowers on the patio table, kitchen window, island and bathroom counters were a very nice additional touch. Everything you could possibly need during a short or long stay was provided in the home. Pride and love of this family for their vacation home was found throughout the house and arround property. We have stayed in many cabins/vacation homes over the years and this one was one of the best so far. I would definetely recomend this home to eveyone!! The only downside for us was when we found out we were over the capacity of guests allowed on the property. Our household alone is 6, and with grandparents from both sides of family we were over the capacity. I do understand where the owner comes from by setting a max limit. If there was none their home would not be the way it is now! We would definitely consider coming back to this property in the future.
Wonderful secluded lake retreat
Our two families had a lovely few nights at the Lost Bridge retreat. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, and coloring books, a scavenger hunt and cookies for the kids. The home is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of thought into it when it was built. We loved the beautiful backyard and fire pit and we all had a fabulous time with the lake toys, SUP and paddle boat. We hope to make it a tradition every summer!
I stayed here for a girls weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect set-up. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the amenities. The lake was amazing and not weedy. We will definitely go back!
A real luxury property with luxury and personal care from the owners
We’ve rented many places in NW Wisconsin and elsewhere. Lost Bridge Retreat is hands down the overall best — both the property itself and the owners who took care of us as if we were family. A five star experience without a doubt. The home is in top condition, inside and outside. For cooks, the kitchen is fully equipped — everything you need. And if you have kids, LBR is a dream with toys, puzzles, games, beach gear. The beach is sandy, clean and swimming is fantastic.
A beautiful, quiet retreat
Beautiful property, wonderful experience! The home worked perfectly for a family of 5 and a family of 4. The house was stocked with everything you would need from spices to laundry detergent and everything in between.
There's a little bit of a walk down to the lake but the lake is beautiful and the corner the property is on is very secluded and quiet.
I would definitely recommend renting!
I am so happy that you all had a nice time at the cabin and spent some time at the beach and lake! We enjoyed hosting you all and would love to have you back again! I do also appreciate the location on the lake as its so nice and quiet and secluded. Thanks so much for the nice review I really appreciate it!
