About Stephane

We are Françoise and Stephane. We live in Paris, France and have acquired this property to make it our own family holiday villa. Unlike most of villa owners in Cap d'Antibes, we come here very often, at least once a month, as Françoise is originally from Antibes. So the villa definitely has a local touch, it is alive and very well maintained. Françoise is a great fan of art and design and has beautifully renovated the villa recently.

Why Stephane chose Cannes - Grasse - Antibes

We acquired this villa because we instantly felt well in it. There are plenty of areas to either meet or isolate, so that everybody can enjoy various aspects of nice holidays throughout the day. It is located in a quiet street with easy parking in front of the house, it is not overlooked, there is a fantasic sea view; the combination of these is very rare in the Cap d'Antibes.

What makes this villa unique

- owned by locals

- very well maitained

- newly refurbished and renovated

- great set of appliances to make your holidays (and ours) as comfortable and enjoyable as possible

Wonderful calm luxury villa

  • 5 of 5

Lovely villa in great location with wonderful views. The villa is in a great location in a really prestige part of the coast. Beautifully decorated, calm and loads of space to relax. We had a great family holiday. Contrary to other reviews saying it was hard to travel around without a car - we used uber and could get a taxi anywhere within 10 minutes. The villa is well looked after and we enjoyed the stylish decor and modern feel, thanks for a great holiday.

Owner's Response: Many thanks for taking the time to review. We are very happy you enjoyed your holidays in our villa and in particular very happy that you liked the decor, as we just redecorated the villa entirely. This winter, we will work on the garden and add plenty of trees and flowers, as well as on the pool on which we will undertake full maintenance. Hope to see you again in the future.

Amazing Villa, Wonderful Holiday

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the villa for the month of August 2014 and we had a wonderful time. The villa is extremely spacious (much bigger than it looks on the photos) and is beautifully decorated and furnished. The layout of the villa around the central courtyard (which is perfect for breakfast, and evening drinks) plus the pool deck and terrace really allows guests to ‘flow’ around the property, with plenty of space and privacy for everyone. All four bedrooms are large and the air conditioning worked well, although the villa is nice and cool so we didn’t actually use it very much. The villa is situated on a very peaceful road and there is very easy parking out the front (you need a car, I think). The villa’s new owner Stephane personally welcomed us and then kept in touch via mobile to make sure that everything was fine. Day to day issues were handed very efficiently by the rental agency round the corner. There was a comprehensive information pack within the villa e.g. regarding taxis and local restaurants and days out - and we particularly appreciated the recommendation for Foundation Maeght in St-Paul de Vence. Overall we had a wonderful and very relaxing month – 90% of it was spent either at the beach, or lazing by the pool at the villa, and we made full use of the summer kitchen and the gas BBQ. Both beaches are easily walkable – although there is a fairly steep hill on the way back so you can always avail yourself of the valet parking at Page Joseph (which my friends thought was most amusing!). My daughter and her friends also very much enjoyed Aqua Splash In Antibes, which is part of Marineland. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Owner's Response: This was a really lovely family and we were very happy to host them. Many thanks for taking the time to write a review, it is such a pleasure to see that you enjoyed our Holiday Villa as much as we enjoy it ourselves. Since you left, we have kept on improving it by adding new furniture, appliances and trees/flowers in the garden. We really hope to have you back.

Lovely villa in wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here three weeks in August 2013. The villa is lovely and comfortable, well equipped and modern, in a lovely peaceful location close to all of the beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. but feels so peaceful coming back to the sea views and sound of the crickets. The villa was exactly as presented on the website. The owner Robert was extremely helpful and made sure the grounds and the pool were always impeccable. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Spacious Villa in peaceful setting

  • 4 of 5

Lovely spacious villa, beautifully decorated throughout, with quality furnishings, air conditioning, very comfortable, clean and tidy.

3 large double bedroom with en-suite and air conditioning, the fourth double is smaller, more suitable for older children than adults.

The modern kitchen is very well planned out with all the latest appliances, a very sociable area of the house.

The villa is set back from the sea and the main road, in a very peaceful location with no noise and very little traffic, although it is close enough to the busy town centre and beaches to be within walking distance.

There are sea views from the main living room, bedroom and terraces.

The old part of town is not to be missed, with many interesting shops, markets, craft stalls, restaurants and bars.

The villa owner, Robert was most welcoming and very helpful.

"An idyllic retreat"

  • 4 of 5

We were a group of 6 ladies 'getting away from it all' for a quiet week and this was the perfect 'home from home'. The villa itself is wonderful, light, airy, spacious and comfortable. The are 3 beautiful double ensuite bedrooms and a 4th small annexe room, more suitable for an adventurous couple of kids or a teenager I would say. The kitchen is well equipped, although an 'explain it in simple terms' instruction manuel on how to use some of the appliances would be useful, as we struggled with the ice-maker for those essential G&T's by the pool at 5pm! Some new crockery, glasses & cooking utensils would be recommended, it's all a little 'shabby-chic' & non-matching, but it's just a small hint to the owner Robert, who is a delight by the way. He's approachable, friendly, helpful and is there if you need him and discreet at other times. The pool & terrace are totally private and the Cap D'Antibes, with it's grand residences and wide avenues, is an outstanding location. I will hasten to add that a car is an absolute essential in this area. We didn't hire, as non of us particularly wanted to be responsible for driving on those narrower lanes around Antibes and we thought the walking would be good for us. Well, we certainly kept the pounds off from all the wonderful cheeses we purchased at the daily market in Old Antibes!

The nearest beach is a 10min walk away to your right out of the villa, lovely for kids with enough eateries to last a few days & the 2nd beach to your left about 15mins, but Antibes Town, with it's wonderful boutiques, great little pavement restaurants, harbour full of super yachts and buzzing nightlife, is a min 30 minute walk and trust me when I say there are no taxis to be had! (A couple of our friends, who arrived a day later, waited nearly 1hr at the station in Antibes for a taxi to the villa, finally we had to call on Robert for assistance) Also, the nearest Supermarkets/Deli's are too far without transportation. Hire a car!

Other than the small recommendations above we had a stunning holiday, superb weather, great food & wine and above all else, felt very 'at home' in the villa. I gave it a 4, just because a few little tweaks to the place, including an information manuel about the locality, where to eat, carhire, emergency numbers etc will quickly turn it into a fabulous 5! We would definitely tell our friends about this villa and we will be returning to Antibes again in the future.

Owner's Response: These guests were a lovely bunch of ladies, a delight to have in the villa, they were very easy and casual, and full of fun,I hope they return. I understand the points they raised and agree with their comments,I have replaced all the crockery and cooking utensils, also a "guest pack" explaining where to eat, where to shop, beaches etc.,and other points of interest ,will be ready for next season. also a "manual" for the kitchen appliances will be supplied. I would like to thank them for bringing these issues to my attention.

Situated on the exclusive Cap d' Antibes with panoramic sea views the villa is ideally situated for that perfect family holiday.

The villa and pool area are not overlooked and the villa's perimeters are secured so you have complete privacy. The sea is visible from most parts of the villa and only approximately 500 mtrs away. There are many terraced areas to enjoy either a quiet cocktail or for entertaining guests.

The famous two Michelin star restaurant 'Bacon' is a few minutes walk away as are the 'Eden Rock' and hotel Du Cap. The 'Keller Plage' is great for a long relaxed lunch with the sea lapping at your feet and kids can play in the surf just feet away. You can then simply stroll back to the villa to have that welcome siesta before having a few cocktails around the pool and then maybe pop into Antibes old town with it's great restaurants and night life for dinner! Juan les Pins also offers many beach restaurants and bars and excellent shopping. Whatever style of vacation you want this position and area is ideal as it caters for all with its art galleries, museums, botanical gardens and close proximity to Nice and Cannes for more upmarket shopping.

The villa is under alarm and a safe is available.

Golf: Biot, Valbone,

Ski: There are several ski resorts within an hour travelling, Valberg, Olerone, and others.
