Frequently seen from just sitting on the deck are elk, mule deer, squirrels, foxes, and many birds, some migratory. Bring your binoculars! Enjoy listening to the seasonal creek nearby.
Grill out on the large deck or use the fire pit to make s'mores. The deck is covered and the perfect spot to curl up to read a book on a rainy day. Or view the sky on a clear night and count the constellations.
This 3BR/2BA log-sided home has an open floor plan with the kitchen overlooking the great room and fireplace. Kitchen has a high top table that seats 4, plus 2 additional barstools. Kitchen includes stainless appliances, Keurig and drip coffee makers, and a toaster oven. Kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans, kitchen linens, and a crock pot.
Family room has a plush fabric sleeper sofa for 2. Two comfortable recliners are nestled near the wood burning fireplace. Large flatscreen TV with DirecTV cable. Wifi Internet provided.
Master Bedroom has a king sized pillow top mattress with extra pillows, a dresser, a desk, two end tables and a walk-in closet. Master Bathroom has a large, beautiful custom shower, double vanity, enclosed toilet, and lots of storage.
Second bedroom includes a queen pillow top bed, a chest of drawers, a side table and a large closet. Third bedroom has a twin day bed with an underneath trundle twin bed, a rocking chair, and a shelved closet.
Second bath includes a tub/shower, toilet, and single vanity. The home includes a full laundry with washer, dryer, and laundry detergent.
A large, expansive 10' x 27' Trex deck overlooks the forest and includes chairs and side tables and two ceiling fans. The exterior of the home is lit by LED string lights. Fully fenced, professionally landscaped yard.
This home is meticulously maintained, tastefully furnished and well appointed. Linens and towels provided. Basics such as toilet paper, tissue, and paper towels are available.
One well trained and house-broken dog allowed, but no cats. Please discuss with owner prior to renting.
For your stay, you provide your own food, firewood, and basic toiletries.
Munds Park includes a gorgeous lake called Lake Odell. Great for fishing and hiking. Bring your kayak and spend time on the lake. The lake is stocked with crappy, northern pike, and bullhead catfish. A fishing license is required. Bald eagles and other migratory birds are frequently seen at the lake.
There are many off-road trails for ATV use as well as hiking trails, including the popular Crystal Point trail where Sedona can be seen in the distance.
Pinewood Country Club, less than 2 miles away, offers public golf.
Munds Park has a restaurant/diner with a bar, a pizza parlor, ATV rentals, two convenience store/gas stations and a couple of real estate offices.
We are 17 miles from Flagstaff which offer excellent restaurants, shopping, cultural activities, festivals, fairs, museums, music as well as hiking, golf, tennis, biking, zip lining, and other outdoor activities.
Ski or snowboard only 45 minutes away at Snowbowl during the winter months. The Flagstaff area provides access to cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and other winter sports.
Sedona is approximately a 40 minute drive away. Visit their eclectic shops and restaurants while enjoying the gorgeous red rock views of this incredible natural masterpiece. Take a jeep tour or a guided hike to learn about this geographical wonder of nature. Drive up to the heavily forested Oak Creek Canyon to visit Slide Rock and play or hike in or along the creek.
The Grand Canyon is only 100 miles north and a definite must see!!
