Newly Renovated 2 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom 1500+ Square Foot Loft Apartment

About Mary Hart

I grew up in North Carolina but spent the first 20 years of my adult life in Alaska where all 3 of my sons were born. I moved back to North Carolina in 2003 and settled in the Asheville area for its beauty, food, music and outdoor lifestyle. I love it here and have truly grown to enjoy all that downtown Asheville has to offer.

Mary Hart purchased this apartment in 2012

Why Mary Hart chose Asheville

The opportunity to purchase this building arose unexpectedly, but I felt drawn to the building and its rich history and took the plunge, buying the building in April 2012 and starting a 6+ month renovation project. The results are even better than I expected and I love sharing this property with travelers. One day I plan to live here myself so I have renovated this building as if it were my own home. I know you will love it too and will want to return again and again to experience all that Asheville has to offer, with the comforts of home waiting for you at the end of each day!

What makes this apartment unique

This beautiful loft apartment is truly in the heart of downtown Asheville, steps away from Asheville's finest restaurants, bars, galleries, shops and live music venues. You cannot get any closer to vibrant downtown living. Unlike a hotel room, you come home each day to your own home away from home. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine or one of Asheville's world famous beers on the balcony and watch the action - or start your day on the balcony with a cup of coffee or tea and watch Asheville wake up. If you enjoy cooking your own meals while traveling, you will be delighted with the fully stocked gourmet chef's kitchen, with a beautiful copper hood and handmade walnut bar.

Beautiful Home in Fantastic Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Loft on Lexington for a Bachelorette party and couldn't have asked for a better location or a more beautiful home. The decor in this loft is seriously stunning, and with 6 of us there was plenty of room to move around and never feel crowded. The outdoor balcony is great to have a glass of wine and watch people walking around downtown Asheville. Everywhere we went was within walking distance, so that was wonderful! The amenities at this home are wonderful with comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms, and plenty of cooking utensils to stay in and cook at home. Loft on Lexington is super close to all of Asheville's wonderful shops and restaurants. Mary and Amoreena were great to work with and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. We would definitely go back to Loft on Lexington!

Wonder, classy place!

  • 5 of 5

We were here for 2 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary, including having 7 local friends over for champagne and munchies. Everyone was stunned by the beauty, good taste, comfort , and size of the place. They jokingly asked if they could stay over for the night.

Mary was gracious, and quick to answer any question. Every detail was attended to. Nothing was forgotten for the convenience of her guests.

What fun to sit on the balcony and peek at downtown below. And fun to tool around town and come back "home" only a walk away! We highly recommend this to folks looking for the best downtown getaway wonderful Asheville has to offer

Fantastic downtown location

  • 5 of 5

Very well appointed and finished property. Spotless and luxurious as promised. Coffee, teas, creamer, and goodies all very welcome and appreciated. Loved the balcony as well. Might suggest to new Asheville visitors to download the parking app prior to showing up, as that will save you some time, along with specifying the best place to park (we used zone 22 as recommended). Caveat for the back bedroom --- we were kept up both nights by neighbors carrying on well into the wee hours out in the alley/patio area. It is Asheville so expect folks to party.

Amazing Loft and Experience!

My family stayed in this loft for a long, reunion weekend and it couldn't have been a better experience. We loved the loft. It is luxuriously appointed and expertly decorated. The location was just simply ideal. We would go back over and over again!

Wonderful Location, Luxurious and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

It was such a treat to stay at this awesome loft apartment! We enjoyed walking most everywhere we went! It was especially nice to be able to get up early, shower and enjoy the kitchen, or go out without worry of disturbing our son and his wife who are still young and like to sleep in on their vacation time. We especially appreciated all of the "little things", like coffee, creamer and filters, even paper towels! My daughter in law loved having tea and hot chocolate as well.

We enjoyed a wonderful food tour (ashevillefoodtours.com) and the pinball museum. It is such a pleasure to stay downtown so close to everything! I brought ear plugs just in case, because visitors downtown on the weekends can be noisy no matter where you are , only used them one night for a few hours though.

I would definitely like to stay there again, it was so wonderful!

The best "hide-away" in downtown Asheville

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd year of staying at The Loft On Lexington with friends. It is hands down one of the nicest places we have stayed and plan to make this a tradition and return every year. Unfortunately, my husband came down with a stomach virus the 2nd day of our trip. I would believe many would agree with me when I say It's tough being away from home when your sick. However, to us, your loft felt like home and he was able to rest comfortably. The first year we did a lot of sight seeing and didn't get a chance to enjoy the Loft as much as we would have liked. This year we were able to relax and enjoy all of the amenities including the state of the art kitchen. The popcorn and candy were wonderful and heartfelt treasures. Thank you for sharing the Loft with us.
