Water's Edge is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home directly on Canyon Lake. Relax on our upper deck or lower patio to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Canyon Lake. Amenities include digital cable TV, central AC and heat, and high speed wireless internet access (free). Pets are welcome!

Water's Edge is situated on the South side of Canyon Lake near the community of Startzville.

The Guadalupe River feeds Canyon Lake and has some of the best tubing, fishing, rafting and kayaking in Texas. It is located just minutes from our home. Many guest love to go tubing down the Guadalupe River at the Horseshoe. Gruene Hall, Texas’s oldest dance hall, is located on the banks of the Guadalupe River with its famous live music and is only a short 15 minute scenic drive away. Gruene also offers great restaurants, shops and spas.

Canyon Lake is a true hidden treasure of the Texas Hill Country with breathtaking waterfront views.

White tailed deer, foxes, roadrunners, and other wildlife are in abundance in the Texas Hill Country and especially at Canyon Lake. The Texas Hill Country is famous for its hilly terrain, live oak trees, limestone rocks, native animals, and clean fresh air.

Canyon Lake has so much to offer: Boating/Sailing, Water Skiing, Kayaking, Fishing, Scuba Diving, Parasailing, Hiking, Dining, Shopping, and much more. Canyon Lake is located just forty miles north of San Antonio and twenty-five miles west of New Braunfels and San Marcos.

Canyon Lake has eight Corps of Engineer Public Parks, 23 boat ramps, two marinas, campgrounds, golf course, country club, and yacht club. The lake has a surface area of 8,230 acres and 80 miles of shoreline. Canyon Lake releases water down stream into the famous Guadalupe River.

Great local attractions include: Canyon Lake, Canyon lake Dam, Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake Yacht Club, Canyon Lake Golf Club, Canyon Lake Gorge, Heritage Museum and Dinosaur Tracks.

Relaxing Peaceful Experience

As we were looking for a place to stay, we were pleasantly surprised and found it to be the most cozy and peaceful place we have ever stayed! Before we arrived, we got plenty of communication from the owners, Patty and Craig...We had a lot of questions for them. They replied promptly and answered all of our questions. Once we got there, it was more beautiful than the pictures showed. Everything was clean and meticulously prepared for our stay. It immediately felt like home. The view is amazing... we saw deer, watched the beautifully colored sunset every evening, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing!

Beautiful view!

The house had the most beautiful view of the sunset! Our only complaint was there were slats missing off the blinds to the patio door, so it got really hot around sunset in living room. Other than that, the house was very comfortable!

Family Vacation

We had a great family weekend with our pups!! The house was the perfect size for everyone and we loved having lake access just right outside the backyard! The dogs absolutely loved having lake access too! We wished we would have booked a couple of extra days, but, now we know for next time, that we will want to stay longer!!
