The house is very cozy. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights with our 9 year old lab and 4 month old golden. It was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the screened in porch in the mornings, eating breakfast while looking out over the bay. Make sure to bring bug spray.
If I were to try and find a negative about this house (and it's really being picky), it would be no fence for the dogs and the grass could've been mowed.
The owners were very responsive and I would stay here again. Nice House!
House was nice, clean. You do get tired climbing down the steps to the pier. We could not locate the lights to the pier, for night fishing.
Had a siblings getaway long weekend, the property was wonderful.
The view and pier was awesome.
This property has a large oak covered lot with plenty of shade and the lighted pier is as appears in the photo. The end of the pier has an underwater fish attracting light. The house is dated, but well maintained and has standard kitchen and bath supplies. Like all coastal areas when you get off the water bring a good supply of Off for outdoor activity. Other than booking, I did not have any reason to interact with the property owner (a good thing). The pier lights appear to be on light sensors so if you try to test them when you get there they will not come on. In case you need it the breaker box for these lights is located at the head of the pier. We enjoyed dining at the CrabN and Paradise Key. Overall I would be happy to stay there again.
The house was great! It has a great screened in porch and a great deck all the way to the bay! The kids didn't want to sight see their last day; they wanted to fish off the covered dock. Needless to say, we had blackened fish that night! The house had a lot of room and we all really liked it. We hope it will be available next year!
We LOVED staying at the Boca House. The house itself was great, the pier was amazing, and the owner was very responsive to communications about minor issues and questions. We will definitely stay here again!
