Hi! Thanks for considering my property for your holiday needs! My name is Martin Rosdahl and I'm the owner of the house. I am managing this property together with my sister Marie.
I am Swedish. I lived there until I was the age of 20. Since then I have worked and lived in the U.S, various places in Europe ( including Sardinia ) and now in Shenzhen, China. I work in the airline industry. I speak Swedish, English, Italian and basic Chinese. My sister is an architect working and living in southern Sweden. She has worked in Italy as well as in Australia. She speaks Swedish, English, basic German/French/Italian.

It's difficult not to be struck by the beauty of Sardinia and I think Bosa showcases the best the island has to offer! Bosa is a place where You can truly relax. It's medieval look, it's genuine people and mediterranean cuisine makes You want to stay. Add world-class unspoiled beaches and 300 plus sunny days a year and the formula is complete... I lived in various places in Italy but found myself regularly returning to Bosa for my own vacations and that's why I decided to buy a property here!
I sincerely believe this property is unique in many ways! The location is Prime, the 1st and 2nd street under the castle offering quick access by car and the best views over Bosa. The house is on 4 floors but with 2 entrances/2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms which allows me to rent the house as a whole for big families/groups or divided into 2 units for couples or smaller families. In Via Ultima Costa, which is the upper unit, there is an open kitchen/terrace area with a sliding glass door. Outside a relatively big terrace with full size BQ and table/chairs for 6 with close to 360 degree view of Bosa, the river Temo and the sea.
This property should not be let. The damp is so bad it's could be a health hazard, especially for children ... The terrace is tatty, with a torn canopy, hence no shelter from the heat. A man living almost opposite spends the entire day carving stones, the noise of drilling is horrendous, no peace at all. The only place to park is in the area assigned for visitors to the cathedral, so almost impossible to find a space. If you do, it's an incredible 90 steps down (which means the same going up again) or a very treacherous walk over cobblestones to get to the house. What made the whole experience a million times worse was complaining to the owners and receiving no reply. It was also our honeymoon. I can't tell you what a horrendous experience this was for very seasoned travellers.
We were 2 families with 2 kids each staying in this house in the historical centre together. The house is situated between the 1st and 2nd street under the castle with dual entrance, very panoramic! The photos are representative and the description accurate. The property is well maintained and clean on moving in day. The kitchen is fully equipped even though more utensils would be an improvement. The bathrooms are fully tiled both with showers but the hot water is not endless. The bedrooms are nice with really good AC and good mattresses. Bosa is a beautiful and relaxing place with a very good main beach, cheap local authentic Italian food ideal for couples or families. We had a great time and truly enjoyed the outdoor terrace at the top of the building with many BBQ's and sunsets! The owner or house manager was always contactable, I can honestly recommend this property to other travellers! 5 stars because very good value!
We spent 6 days in the upper apartment (kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath; 1 family with children 6 and 8) and liked it a lot. Good beds, nice terrace, internet which worked perfect, answers of the owner and the local person in charge right a away etc.
the kitchen equipment could be better, but for small and normal meals it is perfect. The BBQ on terrace is great 4 fish and even pizza. The parking - somebody mentioned - was in the out of season time no problem and the few step were easy! The stone working man was there but wasn't a real issue, even "sympatic".
we liked bosa as a Little town very much and the beaches were Rey nice
Bosa is located in the North West Sardinia on the coast and is one of the ancient Sardinian Sea capitals. In this romantic sea side resort you’ll find something for everyone. Have a walk along Temo on the palm lined river frontage that runs through the heart of the city out to the sea. Go sight-seeing in the medieval historic centre that unfolds below the 12th Century Castello Malaspina. Enjoy the beach in the Marina offering large sandy beaches and crystal clear water and is excellent for watersports. Through-out the city you’ll find numerous shops, restaurants, cafés and bars and if it’s night life you’re after, Bosa Marina has plenty of bars and nightclubs open until the early hours of the morning during the summer! To the north you’ll find Alghero, and all along the coast line, unspoilt, spectacular beaches and crystal clear waters. If you want to go inland, take the little green train to Macomer, winding through the beautiful countryside full with olive groves and vineyards.
