Newly renovated, privately owned brownstone/ townhouse renovation. Elegant original historic detail combined with stylish all new furnishings and artwork. This is a full time corporate/ vacation rental apartment in a privately owned building personally managed and hosted by the owner. Since we designed this apt specifically for guests, it has every convenience a visitor or traveler could wish for during a short or long stay in Boston.

Wonderful Stay!

The two of us really enjoyed our stay here as well as our visit to Boston. The property is close to a number of restaurants of which we had occasion to take advantage. The public transportation was close at hand. Above all, the apartment was very, very nice. This is definitely a place that we would recommend to friends. Overall experience was an A plus.

Great apartment; cool neighborhood

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is on the second (main) floor of a 19th century brownstone walkup and maintains historic charm, while containing modern appliances and conveniences. The owner lives in the building and keeps things well-maintained and orderly. The South End neighborhood, where the apartment is located, is lovely, with food shops, restaurants, and bakery/coffee shops all nearby. The apartment is well-situated for sight-seeing in the Museum of Fine Arts area, and has good transit connections to the rest of the region. We loved it!

Historical charm

This apartment was the prefect mix of style along with the historical component. The detailed crown molding is beautiful. We loved the family heirloom sign from the owner's great grandfather. This apartment was extremely comfortable and a go to place. A very good spot for getting to great eateries too.

Historical and very nice

We had a great time staying in this historical apartment. It had everything you could possibly need and was close to public transportation. Flour and Stella close by were really good restaurants. Dan has thought of everything. Thanks for making our trip a huge success.

A great place in the South End

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The apartment is in walking distance to many good restaurants in Tremont Street, the Boston Symphony and the city center can be reached easily by Bus. The neighbourhood is lovely and safe for walks. We found the apartment as shown in the fotos. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower in the bathroom above the average US standard.

The host is very helpful, the information about Boston and the neighbourhood very detailed and the arrival and departure procedures really easy.

Nice Property

This property is clean and well decorated. It's in a good South End location. The street is generally quiet; the neighborhood is packed with great restaurants. The reservation process was easy. The owner lives in the building. Check in was quick. This 150 year old property has a window air conditioning unit, but we chose to keep the windows open due to the moderate temperatures. Lyft was a $23 fare from Boston Logan. The silver bus line is a block away. The Orange Line Massachusetts T stop is a 14 minute walk. North Boston is one transfer away on the T. The rental cost was reasonable with $375 damage deposit was charged . Administrative and cleaning fees were added. The owner is helpful and friendly. The guide book is packed with outstanding recommendations. All the places we tried were excellent. This nineteenth century building does not offer an outdoor area for relaxing. The furniture is stylish, clean, and fresh. It is for sitting and talking not lounging and relaxing. Public transportation is available, but involves walking. Ride sharing cars (Uber & Lyft) are abundant. We used a combination of Lyft and public transportation with good results. Unfortunately this area is under a south departure corridor from Logan airport. Under certain conditions departures start about 6 AM. Jets pass close enough to disturb early morning sleep. Overall this rental is relatively convenient, very clean, stylish, well kept, and surrounded by great places to eat. We recommend this rental for couples enjoying the South End or visiting the Medical Center.

I do apologize for the airplane noise, its not at all typical and such flights are not actually allowed over the South End, there is however a closed runway that is used a few times each month, its only supposed to be opened during unusual wind direction...
