Exceptional! 5/5 -

Bright, Sunny,Beautifully Decorated Beach House in the Hamptons
average rating of 5.0 based on 6 reviews

The property and amenities are completely high end

  • 5 of 5

The property is excellent - comfortable, spotlessly clean, and completely charming - we unanimously agreed that it was precisely what one thinks a "hamptons - getaway place" should be like. It was a bike ride to a beach but the pool and patio areas were very welcoming and i confess we lounged around the pool at the expense of the beach more than i would normally have done - it was that nice and relaxing. The amenities that the owner provides are all top-notch, modern and thoughtful even down to a state of the art, well-sounding music system that played my IPAD playlists via bluetooth. Even the basics such as towels and sheets were high end "Bloomingdale's-level" quality. In fact the amenities and furnishings were so unexpectedly fine that we speculated that the owner must use the property for their own use most of the time and rent it only occasionally - quite a high compliment for a rental property!

As for the location it was very good. Convenient to shopping for one-off needs and a short (6 mile) drive to the town of Easthampton for just about everything, and a short bike ride to the beach, (though longer to the ocean beach), it was still in a quiet residential area, which suited isa perfectly - quiet, yet close enough to take advantage of the "hamptons nightlife" for dinner etc.

Now one last comment about the owner - i have never stayed in a private rental accommodation where the owner was as accommodating as this proprietor - she was just top class and special in dealing with every one of our questions and needs, even anticipating our needs before we knew we had them! It was as if I had a personal concierge during my entire stay.

So we had it all for one great week - great accommodations, excellent strategic location and a caring owner that actually enjoyed ensuring we would have a wonderful stay. She succeeded!!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your fabulous home!!

great summer vacation in the hamptons

  • 5 of 5

A lovely family holiday in the hamptons, the house is beautifully furnished and welcoming. The house is away from the main town but only a 10 minute drive to some amazing beaches. The pool area was lovely, locally there are some great delis so it was great to sit outside and enjoy al fresco dining whilst the kids played in the pool, there are lots of inflatables in the shed to keep them entertained. the living area in the house is really spacious and you will find all you need. Ginger the owner was really helpful too.

Welcoming and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely, comfortable and welcoming home. The furnishings are bright and cozy and the home is immaculate and beautiful, just as the photos show and the write up describes. Enjoyed coffee by the pool most days. The semi secluded location was great with almost daily visits by a wonderful little deer. September is a great time to visit as the area is a bit less congested but still most every resturarant, store and fabulous farm markets are open. The home owner, Ginger, is a doll and was very present and accomodating as needed. All these just made our week in the Hamptons that much better. Thank you--from the Watsons

Beautiful accommodation in the Hamptons

  • 5 of 5

My extended family and I (6 adults and one yound child) stayed at Ginger's house in the Hamptons and can't recommend it highly enough. The house, furnishings, amenities and provisions were all of high quality - the photo's on the website don't do it justice!

The location is quiet but within short driving distance to beaches and cafe's and restaurants. But, the house is so lovely with everything you could possibly need, you may just want to stay in and relax by the pool or lounge in the house.

As commented by other reviewers, Ginger provides great customer service - nothing is too much trouble, and she provides a list of restaurants to help visitors manage the vast array of choice available. If we were't so far away (in Australia) we'd definitely return!

June Weekend

  • 5 of 5

First of all, this house is lovely. It is airy and spacious and bright. It has all the amenities: pool, grill, large deck with lounge chairs etc. It's everything a vacation home should be. Aside from the comfortable accommodations, the best thing about this property is the owner. Ginger was very sweet and helpful. She even sent us a list of restaurants in the area prior to our arrival. She seemed genuinely invested in our enjoying the weekend. Ginger is a pleasure to work with. Don't hesitate to rent this home, you won't regret it!

Memorial Day weekend

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house with my family on Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful stay there!

The house is beautiful and very comfortable, the neighborhood is really quiet and nice, location is convenient because it is close to the beach and the owner was really helpful in helping us organize our trip to the Hamptons.

You will definitely feel at home here and will have the impression to be far away from the City.

Again, we recommend you discovered this piece of Hamptons paradize.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review. I always enjoy the feedback I get from all my guests. I want to thank you for taking the time to share your memorable experience with us. What I wanted to create is a serene atmosphere, that is beautiful, and quiet while being close enough to the action of the Hampton Scene. My passion is to help travelers get the most out of their vacation time by suggesting the latest hot spots, restaurants and activities in the area. People tell me they love this since it saves so much time and they can get right into "vacation mode". What I love to give you is a concierge service at no additional charge. This property has been described as "The Perfect Beach House and Hampton Experience": from the beautiful furniture and linens, to the pool and spacious feeling, which provides both privacy and comfort for everyone. Yes, I do agree my house and location are like being in paradise. The beaches and scenery are breathtaking. You can understand why artists like Jackson Pollack and Lee Krasner were creatively inspired and chose to live in this area. My favorite pastime is sitting at a local restaurant on the water with my husband, just down the block, sipping a Cosmo, eating great seafood while enjoying the spectacular sunset over the harbor....very romantic. We are so thrilled that you enjoyed it as much as we do. We invite you to come back again. I hope others read your review and realize that there is a little piece of paradise waiting for them, too.

This beautiful home is located in a quiet location north of the East Hampton Village just 2 miles from Jackson Pollack's

Historic Museum. There are local beaches within walking distance and several marinas and restaurants nearby. In August there is the Hampton Classics and in October enjoy the Hampton's Film Festival just minutes away in town. This is a great four seasons location. Thanksgiving and Christmas are charming holiday vacations. Restaurants are open and nothing beats a holiday dinner at the American Hotel in nearby Sag Harbor.

With easy back road access to the east end and Montauk, Sag Harbor, while avoiding traffic in the Village, our location is hard to beat. Shopping in East Hampton combines New York flavor with local shops in an upscale beach community setting. East Hampton is both a home and retreat for many celebrities, artists and business people who bring their talents and culture to town. From local authors doing readings in the book store and library, to play, concerts and performing at Guild Hall Theater, there is no shortage to activities and culture.

Have an after the beach Margarita in the Blue Parrot or enjoy some local seafood appetizers and cocktails at Ciro's on Montauk Highway

If you like live music from rock to Reggae, enjoy Stephen Talk House just minutes away in us in Amagansett. Surfing at Montauk's famous Ditch Planes is just 20 minutes away. Local surf shops offer surf rentals, stand up paddle, kayack and bike rentals with lessons. Surf camp for children is also offered.
