This beloved family home built in 1931 is a charming, summer classic. The shingled two story cottage sits beautifully on the water’s edge at the southern tip of Sconticut Neck. Enjoy water views across to West Island and the Elizabeth Islands from almost every window. A somewhat rocky beach allows for wading, swimming, kayaking and fishing just feet from the front porch. Large living room with fireplace, sofa and cable TV. Separate dining room. Kitchen equipped with gas stove, fridge, large selection of cooking pans, coffee maker and microwave. Outdoor hot water shower for rinsing both yourself and those special beach bucket “finds.” Expansive lawn allows for privacy and plenty of room for play, croquet, and for children to run freely. The front porch looking across the water provides comfortable cushioned seating and will be your favorite place at anytime of the day. Enjoy the sea breezes, take in the beauty, and relax.

Really loved this place. Everything is beautiful and suffused with bits of family history. Incredible view; you'll spend a lot of time on the porch. One thing: It's not insulated, so you'll want to use the provided blankets, and spiders love this sort of old house, so if you are terrified of them this might not be the place for you. But we had a blast and Tyler was wonderful.
I love this place!!! The house was VERY comfortable and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. We ate too much, went site-seeing every day and then went back to "our home away from home" and relaxed!!!! Had the best vacation we have ever had!!!!
