Lovely home in the mountains
We spent a long weekend here with our adult children and their spouses and it was perfect for 6 people. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck with the stone fireplace. The rooms were very comfortable and we were provided with lots of amenities. The kitchen had lots of beautiful dishes, pans, etc. We did find it a little difficult to do some cooking with the microwave/convection oven, however, especially making toast. We have not used one before and were a little challenged by cooking a frozen pizza and some other things, but we worked it out and did the pizza on the grill!. It would have been nice to have a toaster, however. The hair dryer in one of the bathrooms did not work, but otherwise everything was great! We would definitely consider returning to this beautiful home.
Exactly as pictured. We had a blast and enjoyed this beautiful getaway!!
Our family of five had a wonderful Easter weekend! Everything we needed, and the views were stunning. Close to downtown, everything was accessible. Owners were very attentive, and very flexible with our timing. Would absolutely recommend!!
Amazing stay at an amazing reisidence overlooking the mountains!
Amazing house perched on top of a hill overlooking the mountains. We enjoyed both exploring the town, mountains and the view from the back deck where we bbq’d a dinner one eve. The place is beautifully decorated —makes you want to redecorate your home later! Laura and Bob were the perfect hosts — helping us to find some fun haunts in town and lending some marinades for the bbq! We will be back.
Another great stay
This was our second year of staying at this property and it was just as good as the first time. The location is perfect for getting to the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville. The home is very spacious and clean and we loved spending time outside on the patio! Hopefully we will be back again next year!
Paradise in the Mountains
This property is beautiful from the views to the decor. Everything you need is included except the wine! Secluded but convenient to downtown, Biltmore House and Blue Ridge Parkway. Owners were great.
A Serene hideaway.
We recently stayed in this gorgeous home near Asheville. It surpassed our expectations in many ways. The drive up through the neighborhood made us wonder how private it was but as you get to the end of the road then drive further up a splendid parkland like driveway to the wonderfully placed home overlooking the trees and mountain tops, you feel the peace and tranquility of nature enveloping your senses. The photos you see are a true representation of the house but it's not until you arrive that you will appreciate sense of relaxation and beauty that pervades it.
We were 3 couples, two of which had traveled from Australia and we were all delighted with the property. There are 3 decent sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The owners added sweet touches like lovely soaps and shampoos. The outdoor area was perfect eating breakfast while watching the sunrise and evening cocktails. The dining table was big enough for us all to have dinner and play card games on after. Overall it was s wonderful experience and I would stay there again . I have also recommended to others.
Located just minutes away from downtown Asheville, close to all the great restaurants and breweries. Also a short drive to the Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway and mountains to sea trails. So much to do in such a great location
