My apartment is on the 28th floor with a balcony where my guest gets the opportunity to enjoy their morning coffee (weather permitting). I have set up the apartment in such a way that my guest will have a very convenient and pleasurable stay.
It's easier to tell you in an e-mail that we were very, very pleased with our stay in your lovely condo. Everything was better than we expected: the appointments, the staff, the ease of the area. We will gladly tell friends & family how much we enjoyed it, as did our grandson. It was perfect!
This is our second year staying at this property. The apartment is most thoughtfully organized and well equipped. The owner is a gracious host and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you want and need. I hope we make it back next year for another wonderful vacation. Thanks for everything and be well my friend.
Our host Nilesh was extremely helpful and he even managed to let us have the apartment keys in advance as he could not be present at our arrival. The description of the apartment we received in advance was so accurate and detailed and the apartment itself was really very confortable and respected the description. It was fully accessorized and equipped will many useful things which we didn't expect to find such as a portable digital luggage scale or a beautiful guide of NY or even a stock of batteries for the various appliances. We only had some problems with the TV remotes, as there was more than one, and we noticed that sometimes the laptop was rather slow when surfing on the web. We really appreciated the view from the balcony both at day and night which is absolutely remarkable. Also the large availability of bottled water and of coffe pods was a plus. Then the location is great, everything is at easy reach and we never had to wait to get a cab. We'll certainly recommend our host and this accomodation to all our friends and we hope to be able to come back again.
My wife and I first stayed here a couple of years ago and at that time I wrote a glowing 5-star review. Notwithstanding our total satisfaction, when we returned last summer to visit my son and his family, we decided to stay at another VRBO condo in the Upper West Side because it was located within 2 blocks of our son's apartment. We immediately regretted our decision. The UWS condo was quite fine and of course its location was ideal for our family time. However, in every other way it paled by comparison to our Midtown East slice of heaven.
Consequently, when we decided to return to NYC in November for another visit, we were fortunate enough to secure a reservation through our kind and efficient host, Nilesh. This Midtown apartment was even better the second time around. It is an absolute gem for all the reasons offered by so many happy reviewers. Whenever possible, we will always return to our wonderful Manhattan home away from home. It is absolutely worth making our daily crosstown trips from Midtown East to the UWS. And anyone who is familiar with Manhattan traffic and crowds will agree that that is as high a recommendation as you can give!
I think this story says it all about the host, Nilesh. On arrival, we found that the apartment had a new Keurig coffee maker that didn't accept the decaf pods we had brought from home (decaf is hard to find). I texted Nilesh and asked where we could buy them. He replied that if we could wait a day, he would deliver a box. Sure enough, the next afternoon, a box of decaf Keurig pods was at the front desk. In summary,
Nilesh was very responsive, helpful, and delivered everything he promised. The apartment was exactly as represented in the pictures and description. It was clean, neat, fully equipped and everything was in good working order. The living room is comfortable and the view is great daytime and nighttime. It has a usable balcony that we actually used for cocktails. It is high enough and private enough that we did not feel we were on "display." There are two new flat screen TVs that work well although the use of multiple remotes can be a bit tricky. We did not use the kitchen very much but it was modern and fully equipped. The bedroom closet has a closet organizer installed and easily handled the 2 weeks worth of clothes and winter coats we bought. The bed was comfortable and we had ample clean linens. The building has a large laundry in the basement that was easily accessible and easy to use. Because the building is new and probably energy efficient, the unit is a bit warm, even in November, and we left the windows open most of the time. The floor was very quiet and we had no issues with noisy neighbors. For tourists, the building is perfectly located. The front desk staff and doormen are professional and friendly. We easily walked to the theatre and found good restaurants within comfortable walking distance. There is a famous NY bagel shop within three blocks. Grand Central Terminal is about 8 minutes away and the #6 subway has a stop about 5 minutes away. We would definitely rent the apartment again.
We have stayed in hotels on previous short trips but as we were in New York for a longer period this time we decided to try and find an apartment for more comfort. Well this apartment really was perfect and in a great location, just in the area we hoped to be. We could walk to so many places or to the subway not far away. It felt a very safe area. The apartment had everything you could ever want and even more, and was beautifully set up and presented. We have no complaints whatsoever. We loved it. The owner was always quick to reply to my queries and was there when we arrived to show us round. We thoroughly recommend the property. Hopefully we will be able to stay again.
The apartment was just as described on the VRBO listing. It was clean, and fully stocked: there were extra towels, linens, and other supplies. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a full-course meal. Nilesh checked in with us, and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Also, it was nice having attentive and polite doormen to greet you at all times.
The apartment is very conveniently located. Whole Foods was an easy walk, and kept us stocked for the week. There were MANY reasonably -priced restaurants within easy walking distance. And the subway was a couple of blocks away. We often walked back from the theater and Times Square area. We even walked the length of Central Park all the way back to the apartment.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend more than a night in NYC !
