This villa is a three bedroom townhouse in the prestigious Delaporte Point residential gated community which is on the west end of Cable Beach Bay. You look out on a sandy beach, which is easily accessed with a 2 minute walk. You can see down the Bahamian Riviera to Nassau Harbour and Paradise Island.
The centrally air-conditioned property is newly redecorated and refurbished and gives luxury accommodation for six people in three large bedrooms. Like the rest of the house, the new kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances. The house has cable television and free wireless internet is available all the time.
Transport is a breeze - take the Jitney! Jitneys are safe privately owned small buses, which stop on demand. The No 10 Jitney will stop on the roadside outside the gates of Delaporte every few minutes. For a dollar, it will take you downtown or drop you anywhere on route. Alternatively, call a cab from the rank at Cable Beach. Ask us about discounted car rentals as well.
We have good restaurants nearby, one just outside the gates and several in Sandyport Town Mall five minutes walk away. The well stocked supermarket is a ten minute walk away.
You can be picked up at your door for activities such as fishing snorkeling, and scuba diving. Cable Beach hotels and Casinos are only a five minute Jitney or taxi ride away. The Atlantis Hotel and Casino on Paradise Island is also worth a visit.
Of coourse some the best snorkeling is right off your back deck .... snorkel gear included

Condo in excellent condition and ideally located. Roger was excellent to deal with.
Relaxing Winter Getaway
This was our first time to the Bahamas and we think we chose a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy some weather warmer than at home. This condo location was really nice with the outdoor patio directly on the water. The weather for our week wasn’t perfect - mostly cloudy and very windy - but with the eastern exposure of the patio we were sheltered from much of the wind and could enjoy the sunshine when it came out. We would definitely return and rent this unit again. The only minor complaint that I have I was the lack of good lighting in the 3rd floor master bathroom. It was impossible to put on makeup in the evening to get ready to go to a restaurant for dinner. Ladies, bring along a small hand mirror!
We visit the Bahamas every year. For the past 2 years, we've rented this beautiful home. It has a beautiful view and it's in great condition with all the amenities you need. It is centrally located and you have easy access to transportation. It's also a gated community and the neighbors are quite welcoming. Roger (owner) is readily accessible. Thanks again Roger, we had another wonderful experience in paradise. With love the Swearengin Family
We enjoyed your condominium. It is beautiful - very comfortable. Thank you!
What you see is what you get!
The house itself was exactly like the pictures! The deck had a beautiful view, and the pool is very convenient to the town house. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and there were plenty of linens for use. The jitneys were a convenient way to get around.
A few drawbacks: the pools are not heated, and the weather while we were there was chilly (enough that my kids wanted to swim, but wouldn't get in either pool for more than a few minutes). The townhouse was in a gated community, which was nice, but the areas nearby weren't as nice. The nearby beaches had broken glass, and a lot of other garbage.
The weather also brought in a ton of garbage, which meant the pristine water was filled with organic and man-made matter. My impression of The Bahamas is still positive, but they need to do some clean-up.
I am glad you enjoyed your time in the Bahamas. Not sure which beach you wrote about when seeing the garbage but when a cold front comes from a rare direction it brings in garbage from the ocean. Some say its from cruise ships or US but I don't know. The garbage usually gets cleaned up quickly.
Thanks for the great review!
We have been to Nassau several times as our son is an Embassy Employee. As he will be leaving his current assignment in August, we decided to have one last family visit and needed accommodations for five adults and one toddler. The location and view was perfect. We were grateful to be able to rent a vehicle through Barbara (the property manager) and to have detailed instructions about the area (even though we were familiar with the area). Barbara was very helpful in helping with the problems we had with the third floor air conditioner. We would recommend this property to anyone.
