Family Christmas in Vermont

  • 5 of 5

There are a few places on this planet where God gives us a small piece of heaven and sometimes we are fortunate to venture out to find that small piece of heaven. The Red Pond House is one of those places. Everything exceeded all our expectations! We simply fell in love with the beautifully renovated1840 farmhouse. We arrived late four days before Christmas and what a truly wonderful experience to open the door into a warm house. Heather was the perfect virtual hostess who promptly answered or met all our needs. The house was so comfortable and very warm. Everything we needed was there. We would like to return for summer fishing and hiking. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed in the least. All the best - McDonald’s & Bilbauds

Very cozy and comfortable

Charming cabin on a lovely quiet road. We were there in the winter and found it to be a very peaceful retreat. The house is very well maintained, comfortably furnished and very clean. The huge kitchen is fantastic.

Pictures don't do it justice. This place is amazing. In a quiet location and oh so beautiful. You can't go here and not be relaxed. The house is extremely clean and well stocked. The decor is amazing. Be warned, it's not super close to much but for us that made it all the better. We enjoyed a campfire, sitting by the water and walking the property. Just an amazing place!!!!

The property is awesome. Love the new path to the island and great bench. The kitchen is fantastic and the views from the kitchen and living room are beautiful. We enjoyed the local fishermen, blue heron and loons. A great get away. Hope to return next year.
