The apartment was nicely renovated & had all amenities you could ask for! It was within walking distance to the downtown pedestrian mall & all tourist attractions.
It was very thoughtful of the owner to leave a goody basket!
The two cons that I found with this rental was the furniture in the main room where tv is. It is not very functional or comfortable if you're looking to relax & watch a little tv before bed. Also, the steps are a little dangerous leading up to the front porch. Other than these minor items, it was a great place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay! Completely renovated apartment in an ideal location!
It was very thoughtful for the owner to leave all the goodies!
We walked everywhere and felt safe. We would stay here again.
The house was well appointed with everything we could need. The fridge was stocked with basics for us. The location was excellent! We were able to walk to the Pedestrian Mall and it was well situated from campus, close but far enough that you are not in the fray of the traffic. The patio was a lovely place to sit in the morning and drink coffee. They allowed us to check in when we arrived after a long trip which was such a comfort and great convenience. The owners accommodated us in every way possible. I would definitely rent this property again. Another plus was having temperature control so it was not too cold with the AC running.
I really enjoyed my stay. There were more than enough essentials left for my use and even some surprises such as baked goods, eggs, milk, and orange juice. The apartment is very cozy and warm, tidy and clean. Close to everything in the downtown mall area, and just a cab or Uber away from things not in walking distance. I highly recommend the Renovated 1925 house with apartment in the heart of Charlottesville!
This apt is so well-located - 2 blocks from the Pedestrian Mall. The owner has put a lot of thought into making this a great home away from home!
This apt became my Granny Pad: allowed me to have my own place while helping our kids with their first baby! Kitchen is so well- appointed: i could cook there & bring to their house!
Jessica & her family are very flexible & hospitable.
I recommend it!
