The Ann Street Guest house was located in a nice neighborhood in walking distance from Fells Point. Before I decided to book the house, I spoke to Kim who helped answer all of my questions. After a pleasant conversation, I realized that the property would be perfect for a girls' weekend away! Upon arrival Kyle came to meet us at the house to go over the "do's and don'ts." Although it was nice to meet Kyle, I do not believe that it was necessary being that there are literally labels on everything. Labels to explain what light switch does what, how to hold down the toilet to flush, how to close the blinds, how to not put flowers in a decorative vase, etc. The labeling was a little too intense & the manual of the entire apartment included more detail than we needed. ie - No mango seeds in the garbage disposal. The labels made it feel like we were in a museum rather than a home away from home. In general, however, we had a great time and would love to stay in the area again.
This home was an absolute joy to stay at! We ended up getting away for a girls weekend on the town! Not being from Baltimore, we quickly realized we were in an ideal convenient location. We were able to walk to Fells Point and were able to easily get around with a Uber for about $5 for every other location we needed to go. This home is spacious and more than accommodating. Not to mention the property managers Kyle & Kim were extremely friendly and helpful in every step of the process! If you are looking for an easy get away this is your place!
We came to see a baseball game and were pleasantly surprised about how cool the city was. The Ann Street Guest House was just a few blocks from the bus stop which would take us to or near everywhere we wanted to go. We also used the water taxi which was a great way to get around the harbor area.
We were very comfortable at the Ann Street Guest
House and it offered everything we needed. Kyle, the
property manager was very friendly and
accommodating. Probably not a good fit if you have a problem with stairs because it is four floors. We felt it was what added to the uniqueness of the place and gave us all more privacy.
Thanks Kim and Kyle for a great stay in your awesome city.
Some friends and I rented this house for a weekend getaway to watch some baseball. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house was extremely clean and there was more than enough room to sleep 8 comfortably. Great location close to Fells Point and Camden Yards - both of which provided quite a bit of fun out on the town. Kim and Kyle were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Thank you both for a great stay. I would highly recommend this house!
We rented the house for a small family gathering. Grown kids, grandbabies, grandparents and great grandparents from Indiana to Florida! We had a wonderful time. Gathering around the big kitchen table to eat, visit, play cards and laugh. We couldn't have asked for more! The backyard was very nice for the small grandbabies and the our small dog Oliver!
The house had everything we could have wanted and it was very clean. Thank you for sharing your house with our family. We will be back!
My family and I have just returned from our stay in Baltimore. We were in town to attend a surprise Birthday Party and Orioles game. Kyle, the local property manager greeted us upon arrival. She was very friendly and helpful, answering the many questions we had, not only about the property but about the area. Kyle also offered some great tips on the FREE public transportation, which we took FULL advantage of. She also recommended some great area restaurants. We went to Phillips for Crab Cakes - FABULOUS! The property was charming, being able to enjoy a cup of morning coffee in the lovely garden was an added bonus. During the day we walked everywhere, Aquarium (a must see!), Camden Yards for the Orioles game and Fells Point. At night we took advantage of the free bus service, it was very easy to hop on and off the Orange and Green line to get where we needed to go. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and were able to visit Washington DC (public transport Marc/Metro was an inexpensive way to travel), if you go - we recommend the night tour - breathtaking. We also took a boat around Inner Harbor in Baltimore, so fun. A special thanks to Kim for helping us choose Ann St Guest house and to Kyle who was so very thoughtful and friendly during our stay. We highly recommended Ann St guest house during your visit to Baltimore and look forward to returning in the future!
