Guestbook comments from the owner

Great family location! Peaceful and quiet but close to everything if you need something. We sooooo enjoyed having the kids graduation party there. Sitting by the firepit roasting marshmellows was the crowd favorite. Wonderful touch having the picnic tables on the deck. That was a breakfast hangout every morning as we enjoyed the unspeakable view!

Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Wonderful mountain getaway

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this house! The view is absolutely breathtaking and the house is generally well-maintained and very clean. The owners and their agent were fairly pleasant to work with, so booking was not a hassle. There were only a few small issues--like the light switches not making any logical sense as to what light they operated, or remotes for lights/fans having dead batteries--that were a little frustrating but could be dealt with. Also, if the owners would consider upgrading the TVs, that would be a huge plus--especially the one in the den. Our guys would've appreciated a larger screen for their Saturday afternoon college football games!

Loved everything about the cabin!

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and spacious. Small problem with yellow jackets outside, but I contacted Glenda and she sent someone over the next day to spray. Defiantly plan on staying here again.

25th Anniversary Getaway

  • 5 of 5

I would like to say thank you for allowing us to use your place for such a special occasion. The place is wonderful and peacefully secluded. We love the view, especially in the morning while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. It was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Everything we needed was readily available in the house. The wireless service did not work for us while we were there but every efforts were made on their part in attempt to get it to work. Sometime things just happen and no fault on their part. By that being said we really enjoy the stay and thank you for sharing your home with us. We look forward to coming back for another stay.

Thank You,

The Phommaly Family.

Beautiful view and large home!

  • 4 of 5

Upon arrival at the home, we were instantly blown away by the beautiful view! We also were very pleased with the size of the home. The home was very comfortable and clean. The home was also very child friendly, the stairs to the basement were closed off by a door, which is great when you have toddlers walking around :-)

The only cons we had during our stay was that the grill was non-functional (not sure the problem because there was propane in the tank, I think the grill just needs to be replaced). The second con was the heating was sub-par in the master bedroom/bath and the room directly below the master on the basement level. I called Glenda the next day to tell her those rooms were freezing and we needed it addressed because we have babies sleeping in those rooms. She was more than helpful and even brought us heaters for each of those bedrooms, which helped tremendously! I think the heating unit should be checked and heating issues should be addressed.

Thank you, Glenda for your help and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
