Gorgeous 2BR/ 1BA balcony rental overlooking San Sebastian Street in Old San Juan. Calle San Sebastian is the famous street in the historic old city, where the annual San Sebastian Fest originated, which attracts thousands of visitors every January. The colorful historic buildings together with many different restaurants and bars create a lively, tropical atmosphere. The apartment is beautifully decorated. With original wooden doors and wooden ceilings at 18ft. it reflects the charm of the old days, yet offers modern amenities to make your stay pleasant. The equipped kitchen has room for 4 persons to enjoy their meal at home, but if you love to eat out you find several choices literally at your door steps. The bedroom and loft offer comfortable bedding, up to 4 person may sleep on 2 queen beds. The front room opens to the street; and it might feel noisy at times, because of the nature of Calle San Sebastian – it is a lively, tropical restaurant & bar street. The apartment has ceiling fans throughout plus A/C's in each bedroom and offers Internet as well as Roku (a movie down-streaming devise) for entertainment. It can be perfectly combined with our Patio Rental on the same floor, listing #998226. A large group of up to 8 persons could enjoy their stay on an entire floor of a charming Old San Juan home.

The place overall was nice and unique. We really loved the its style and location. Old San Juan is a safe place so we didn't care much about safety issue. If you want somewhere that is full of fun and excitement, this is right place. However, if you want a quite place, you should look for somewhere else as the bar it faces won't close at about 3 am.

Old world flair with modern amenities.

Our stay in OSJ was the perfect ending of our Puerto Rico vacation and this apartment made our stay even more memorable. Being able to stay in the middle of this historic city and to have all the modern amenities made this apartment an excellent choice for our last days in PR. WiFi, Air Conditioned rooms, great view and Old World charm made this the cherry in our vacation sundae.

Bursting with character

The stylish and comfortable living is well reflected in the apartment photographs, and a fine complement to experience the character in both the location and rental.

The fabulous location in the heart of the old town was mainly a plus though the biggest drawback is the extreme noise from the close neighbouring bars and cafés. This is the only negative however it's a very significant one as the noise begins around 6.30pm every night of the week and goes into the early hours. You cannot block it out by closing the shutters, and even if you dull it, the heat becomes oppressive without any air flow.

Otherwise the apartment was perfectly clean, good supply of towels and linen and good quality kitchenware.

Perfect Location, Very Comfortable

This apartment far exceeded our expectations. Both bedrooms being air conditioned was a huge plus for us to be able to come back and take breaks throughout the day. A representative came and met us when we arrived, showed us around, and even gave helpful ideas for fun activities and where to eat. We felt extremely comfortable and it was a perfect location to walk throughout the old town area.

Old San Juan is the oldest city on US Territory and part of the World Heritage. It is about 8 by 8 blocks of unique colonial style architecture and offers everything from restaurants, bars, Puerto Rican coffee shops, galleries, open air music, and nice paths to walk by the Port & Ocean, tourist shops to grocery store, pharmacy, Marshalls and Starbucks. The closest unofficial beach is in front of the Capitol Building in about 10-15 walking minutes from almost anywhere in Old San Juan. The nearest blue flag beach is called El Escambron and can reached in about 25-30 minutes walking along the Atlantic Ocean or in about 5 minutes by car/ taxi or bus. Old San Juan has a bus station from where you can go to Plaza Las Americas, the biggest mall in the Caribbean, to the Convention Center, as well as to Condado and Isla Verde, the other two main tourist spots along the coast of San Juan. Condado and Isla Verde are the modern parts of the city and have great beaches, hotels & casinos & much more...
