This lovely quiet 1 bedroom suite with separate living and dining areas is located in the warm heart of San Francisco’s most desirable destination neighborhood, Noe Valley. This is the ideal location for visitors in San Francisco, whether they are tourists looking to see the city with a relaxing home base, or businesspeople looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but still convenient to get there.
The living area features a sofa that easily converts into a full size bed with included linens. A 37” HDTV with full cable service and high speed WiFi internet ensures you will stay connected to the rest of the world. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed with pillow-top mattress, 600 thread count cotton sheets, and down bedding. A tabletop iHome iPod clock radio allows you to listen to you favorite songs or radio stations while going to bed or waking.
The dining area overlooks the beautiful shared manicured garden, complete with a quietly gurgling fountain, outdoor dining area, BBQ, and hot tub. Unwind with a glass of wine in the hot tub after a day of exploring San Francisco. The backyard is shared with the unit above but rarely used by them.
We enjoy renting vacation rentals to our guests
Bernat / Adrien purchased this apartment in 2008
This beautiful apartment is located in a nice, sunny and quiet area of the city. The garden and the hot tub are delightful especially on a sunny day. The Metro line #J runs by a few blocks away which will take you downtown in just a few minutes.
- Nice garden with dining area
- Hot tub / jacuzzi located in the back of the garden

First impressions are very important, this place does not have a decent piece of furniture, everything seems second hand, missing outlet wall plates, door in bathroom leads to the garage. Ask for more kitchen pics, especially the sink, stove,refrigerator and cement floor. Could not use the back yard space because of overgrown plants, no light out there to use at night, outdoor heater did not work, I could really go on with lots more stuff, but I think you get the picture
I travel a lot and expect a good to great experience from the places I choose. This property leaves a lot to be desired, unfortunately.
We stayed at the apartment for about 8 days. The first issue is the cost. VRBO does not allow discussion of price so I had to edit it out of this review. But suffice to say , that with all the charges it was nearly twice the amount per night described in the listing. The apartment was clean and well maintained and located in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed the Noe Valley town center. But the apartment has issues. Some minor, like we had to buy our own toilet paper. Others fairly important. The people in the upstairs apartment apparently work at night and seem to make little effort to keep down the noise. One night we awoke to an argument at 400am. The main issue is the apartment itself. It is a dark place. There are windows but they provide little light giving the place a somber atmosphere. It was actually difficult to know night and day when it was cloudy outside. You have to really like a hot tub to enjoy this place.
This apartment is a basement unit that is barely finished - lots of exposed concrete. The kitchen floor is actually concrete. The photos are very deceiving - the rooms are VERY dark. The unit is very sparsely furnished and the people that live upstairs came in very late every night we were there and it sounded like they were rearranging their furniture. I would not recommend this rental to anyone. It's unfortunate because this is actually our first bad experience with a VRBO.
We will start saying that, if we return to San Francisco, we´d rent this unit again. It´s located in a quiet neighborhood, has a complete kitchen and great hottub in the backyard. One thing that was not clear for us was that the backyard could be used by others. One night we used the tub, but the next, when we arrived at night, we saw some people using the table and the barbecue area. We felt restricted to even open the back door. But that´s was ok, hence we did not have the intention to use the tub that night, but, what if we did?
1. move the tv to the kitchen area (now it is located in the first room, where third and forth guest sleep. In our case, our two daughter did and we could not use the tv);
2. Try to install a larger shower. Larger people definitely would not fit in there.
Thanks a lot
This is a great spot in Noe Valley with easy walking access to the 24th Street, the Mission and Castro. While the apartment is roomy and comfortable, it is in need of a thorough cleaning and painting. The bathroom is spacious and functional except the shower, in which the shower head leaks and couldn't be adjusted, making it difficult to shower without banging off the wall or shower shelving. The patio is a great place for relaxing, but plants need trimmed a bit, the patio area needs swept and cobwebs were everywhere. Please know that we had a wonderful time and this is a property with tremendous potential...it just needs some tender loving care.
NEIGHBORHOOD: NOE VALLEY The Suite is located on Clipper Street, only 2 blocks (5 minute walk) from fashionable 24th street, full of shops, bars, and restaurants, including a post office, convenience store, Whole Foods Market (grocery store) and a La Boulange for delicious French baked goods. Of course there are also trendy boutiques, gift stores, banks, and convenience stores for essentials. Stroll a few blocks further and you can enjoy the nightlife in the hip Mission district, or enjoy a day in the sun in Dolores Park.
